Color page for Act-Age is really pretty, as is the poster for We Never Learn. I'm glad the weird stone effect is starting to go away on the Dr. Stone front cover for this volume

Volume covers
This WNL cover is very beautiful, it is the best cover of the series for now in my opinion.
The cover of Dr. Stone is good compared to the first 3 volumes. I also liked the cover of My Hero Academy, Mirio deserved to be on the cover.

Apologies but I'll have to fangirl over Haikyuu's cover. Sometimes Furudate produces some fantastic cover and this is one of such instances.

Horikoshi's editor has changed from Monji to Yoritomi. Yoritomi was Saiki's former editor. We'll have to see what changes in style come from this.

From this episode of School of Jump, he's actually rather new, being in his third year as of this video from last year.

Yoritomi's profile, along with an interview about Saiki's production with Asou, can be found in this link. He's actually really young, being born in 1990. He joined Shueisha in 2015 and became an editor for Jump in 2016.

You know I think the digital leaks only came out earlier cause Heiji was already posting the ones from the paperbacks lol

Or maybe I'm just thinking too much into it...

They are not digital leaks for Shônen Jump ;). Because Shônen Jump digital edition is available only on Shônen Jump site. So nodoby hack Shûeisha site^^. The digital leak came from hacking for magazine out on digital site like kindle amazon, ebookjapan or bookwalker.

That's not too young, actually. He's only a year older than I am, and I'm 27.

Man, I wish Neverland's writing had the same spirit as the illustrations.

That's a big change. A new perspective can help the author to better explore the potential of the series. But I think Monji was with Horikoshi since before MHA, which means they already had an established bond and now a new bond needs to be built, which is not always easy.

This reminds me of Torishima, who assisted Toriyama since before Dr. Slump and left when Piccolo appeared. Throughout the manga we can see that the editor change influenced the tone of the series. With Torishima, everything was more cartoonish. Kondo was rigid, with him everything became more serious but the popularity increased a lot. With Takeda (Buu Saga), everything became a mess, but the comedy came back.
