Also, I know that Demizu of Neverland and the artist of Act-Age are woman but there's more right now? I saw someone saying that Haikyuu author is a woman too but otherwise and don't remember more.

I wanted to speak briefly about the Jump manga everybody forgets it exists except when we see it surviving well in ToC aka Spring Weapon No.1

I've been watching last raw chapters by curiosity, and it seems manga is turning a little serious (like Gintama and Reborn! did in its day).

It could be something interesting to see.

If you guys were up to date with the author comments that MS translated and followed Gotouge's comments then it's not much of a surprise that she's a female. Most of her comments sounded so feminine, unless Gotouge is a male and is just pretending to be a female lol.

I went down a downward spiral searching for the stuff I'm claiming. I couldn't find anything.

At one point though, I was convinced that Gotouge was a she after wondering about it myself for a long time and I remember it wasn't the Jump Festa source, since I wasn't buying that as a source. Now I'm starting to question things again.

Maybe I misremembered whatever the source was, the thing that convinced me that Gotouge was a she. I either made up the French thing because of my bad memory and I was thinking of something else, or the French thing is real, maybe someone that knows French and has access to French manga and magazines can do some research.

Great, now I'm at the status quo of wondering Gotouge's gender again.

This literally seems like Yokota took a photo and messed with some effects and then pasted the students on top of it. There is no proper shadow of the students on the ground, even if you consider the lighting and the tree.

I read it, it didn't fall apart when it came to the art. Chapter two of Actage was pretty weird. I don't know what pacing the writer is trying to go with. This chapter's first part seemed pretty pointless and then the second part of the chapter where the actual important things happen felt too rushed and short. For a second chapter, not a disaster, but the writer is going to need to decide really well what he's going to do.

Again, glimpses of potential shined through, but I really don't know where the writer wants to take this, he needs to set some kind of first time goal that needs to be accomplished by the two main characters or this will fall apart fast.

I'm fairly certain that's exactly what he did. It definitely looks outta place.

you think WSJ will stop trying to make a new football manga happen now that both Ole Golazo and Shudan flopped? or will they try it again soon?

I know why are they doing this, they're trying to cash in on football hype now that Russia 2018 is just around the corner

during Brazil 2014 hype, they tried to cash in with Tokyo Wonder Boys but that flopped

and in South Africa 2010 they were trying too with Dois Sol and Light Wing starting back to back but both flopped as well
