I didn't read Golem Hearts recent chapters, does it look like it's going to end soon?

I'm deadass I swear! Bleach's pitfalls have been exacerbated for a while but when I thought about it the most praise I've seen Bleach garner is from Soul Society and the main characters' bond. The post broke down how Kubo finessed a dynamic to make it more than we realized and interpreted, bringing up old interviews of the origin of the two from their names to their ashetics. It wasn't any triggered shipper post either but had slight bias. Like in general sense has there ever been a good dynamic in modern Jump among opposite genders?
I mean, say what you want about how her character was handled after SS arc but Rukia was a strong character with a strong personality especially in the beginning. Her dynamic with Ichigo until the end of SS arc was top notch. Best or top 3? I don't know and probably doubt it. But until the start of the arrancar thing, her character and her friendship with Ichigo was extremely well handled. I'd say it was partly due to this that SS arc had the impact that it did.

Nah, that Golem Hearts cover is like a bad Fairy Tail cover. Lycopene and Full Drive have nice looking covers; too bad Full Drive is boring and I haven't gotten a chance to read Lycopene.

Volume covers are finally out for the new series.

We Never Learn 5

Dr Stone 4

Shudan 3

Shokugeki no Soma 28

Haikyu!! 30

Lycopene:
we're still in the WSJ, right?
Fulldrive: simple but cool.
Golem Hearts: as well as the plot, nice, but tries too hard to be like the others.
We Never Learn: boring
Dr. Stone: the best cover of the series, but the background remains ridiculous.
Shudan: my favorite. So cute.
Shokugeki no Soma: tasteless.
Haikyu!!: I've always found the Haikuuu!! CPs more creative and energetic. When Furudate uses this energy in the covers, everything becomes more interesting. My second favorite.

PS: now I noticed that I wrote the first "Haikyuu!!" with only one letter "u" and the second with three. XD

Golem Hearts cover looks like it's trying too hard. Though Lycopene doesn't look like it's trying enough. Full Drive cover is awesome, shame it's wasted on such a bad series.

Someone obviously gave the Dr Stone cover designer a good slap. Looks much better. And the colour work on the WNL cover is truly incredible.

And I'm finally caught up with Kimetsu. Man, I fucking love this manga. I can't get over how cute the art is when the manga is so brutal at the same time, I love that. I enjoyed this arc a lot and I really appreciate Gotouge's style more and more by each chapter, bless her for making such a charming manga, I have such a good time reading it. Everyone is best boy(and best girl) and everyone is precious to me, I don't want suffering, which is unavoidable here, damn it.

This did make me realize even more that Kimetsu is going to need some extra attention put into the anime adaptation, otherwise, things really won't work out, which is worrisome to say the least. They need to nail the art style somehow, but how? The coin flip luck factor ensues.

I have to agree that Dr. Stone's volume 4 cover is the best one, maybe they finally realized how badly they messed up. I have the feeling that the Tomato poodle wants to punch me in the face with a smug look, which I do like.

I read the first chapter of Act-age and I loved it. I really like the two main characters, they'll make a fun pair for sure. It is pretty unique and you know what, more unique things have been taking off in Jump lately, so this can do it as well. I think this really has a lot of potential, both the writer and the artist can grow a lot. I especially like the girl, she's really interesting. Now I wonder how the writer will set up the plot and if he'll be able to pace himself properly, I feel like getting the pacing right is crucial in WSJ nowadays and it isn't an easy thing to pull off when you start your manga. I like the art, I think the flow was pretty good, I didn't mind the simplistic backgrounds, I think the lack of super detailed backgrounds puts an emphasis on the characters at all times, which is a good idea since this is going to be about being as expressive as possible, we need to always focus on the characters and not on other distracting details. Am I attached emotionally to this, not really, at least not yet, so for now whether or not it survives or gets axed probably won't affect me too much.

I also read the second chapter for Bozebeats. I like that the mangaka is using the mc's origins to characterize him, that's good, I wanted to see that. The mc is really cute, pure hearted and hyperactive, an interesting combination. I want to see parts of his training with the cool scar face guy and I want some insight on how the technology works. This second chapter was fairly questionable, I don't know, I'd say the author managed to pull it off in the end, but things could've gone really badly. Hopefully he manages to pace himself properly or he'll fail otherwise, I said above as well that finding the right pace when you start off your manga is crucial in WSJ nowadays. Art is pretty solid overall, has growth potential, I appreciate the cute pouts and expressions of the characters.

I'd say this serialization round has a lot more to offer than the last two ones. I'd be fine with one or both of these living for a while, just to see how things evolve. The potential is definitely there, now these inexperienced mangaka will have to capitalize on this huge chance they have and not crumble under the pressure.

I'm still surprised to see that Gotouge is a woman.

I loved Act-tage chapter 2. Having really serious vibes about it getting good ranks in ToC and surviving easily.

I hope these sensations get confirmed in 5 weeks

Wait, was this confirmed?
I did mention it before in the 2017 WSJ topic. It was mentioned in either a French manga volume or in a French magazine. I wish I kept the source.

Edit: I was also wondering for a while if it was a he or she, but at some point, in the first half of 2017, I think in the earlier part of the year, some convincing proof finally appeared and I at that point I was convinced it was a she. I remember Baka-updates also shortly updated her gender status after that French source appeared.
