How many people would be a good size for it? And how many questions/rounds?
I remember only the 2nd one I played. Was that a good size or still too many? And was the problem that people take too long to send in answers, counting the points, or the game length?
I also remember you had some problems with how to run it with more players last time and put up a poll which resulted in 3 questions per round. You had everyone send in 1 question to use them all for the game, but maybe it’s better to use only some of them you pick. The ones you think would be best/most fun maybe. This way you could limit the number of questions/rounds and with that the game length.
Dunno - picking some may be the best idea

Prob is, no one wants to answer lots of questions in one go - and it's easy for the game to stagnate as players wait for one or two people to post

Counting is ok - I automated most of it

Not played either - heard great things about Betrayal though

Large group you had there - we'd rarely have more than 10 people - probably why we didn't do werewolf much
That and it's fun to switch it up and not play the same thing week in week out
(cause, with that many people, few games you can play without having to split into smaller groups)

Still want to at some point

But far, far, too busy at the moment

That, and I tried to think up some suitably simplistic rules (so everyone knows what is happening) and none were really as good/simple as I hoped
Yeah, check them out man. We've gotten way past our stop-time at many, many nights. Both are really great. Cosmic Encounter is one of those games that has a few expensive expansions, although it's definitely worth it. The main game solo gets rather dull after a few games due to it being the same type of game each time.

Betrayal has so many options and features for a main game, that shit is insane! There's a lot of really confusing plays in the book, which might put the game on-hold here and there. We sometimes had the problem that the 'traitor' (who is alsways solo), didn't understand his role or play. And then you have to choose, continue with how the person understands the rule, or take a look at it and start a new round.

Aye, we often just skip traitor roles in games, when playing with new players.

Most games work quite well without them - and whenever we do include traitors, someone who has played before (like me) ends up being the role and stomping the game.
Not hugely entertaining

You seen the board game Nemesis?
Looks like it may be entertaining.

Will prob see what people think when it's actually out - not one to jump on the kickstarter bandwagon

Yeah, we've had our own fair share of watered-down versions or ignored roles in games too. Skipping the traitor is not an option with Betrayal though. It's one of the main things the game runs on.

Looks promising, that's a hell of an amount they brought in, damn.
I'm all-in for supporting whatever board game people come up with. For some reason it's always limited to family games or the mainstream.. well.. family games.
The rest is always looked down upon in the big circles. That's a shame. So much good stuff out there.

It's the first weekend, and I'm up at 2 am doing study. Uni is amazing so far but it's certainly taken things up a notch :faint
I feel you man :feelsbadman

Fair do's

My latest set of purchases have all been 'players vs game' - such as Dead of Winter, or Pandemic
[Really want to get hold of a copy of Gloomhaven - when it is sold widely and isn't like 200 euros...]

Though I am partial to quick party games like The Resistance, Secret Hitler, Coup, Love Letter - things which can be explained and played in 10 minutes [to give more time to argue and drink]

Any RPGs in particular?

It's not my business to advertise for others, but Farfy has been trying [ineffectually] to put together a VtM game, for some time now...
Not really, I just play what my friends bring: Munchkin, Bang, Mafia game... the next one we want to try is one called Arcadia Quest. :p
