Just a suggestion.
But you should just make this the start of an ongoing game.
As more games are played and more characters created...
This world expands into different timelines and universes.

2. There are no levels/classes in this game - just skills
you want to role a 'warrior', learn warrior like skills and act like a warrior - you want to be a 'priest', learn to read, write (both not being 'common' skills), and act 'holier than thou'

Oh, more questions, more answers:

Races don't have inherrent 'skills' - but do gain the usual stereotypical character traits [it's easier that way]
For example: Elves generally have better eyesight and agility
Dwarves generally are tougher and stronger
Humans generally are normies, no special traits, pretty dull - sucks to be a human, eh?

One more question before bed:

Apart from the initial character design [and any time a character wishes to say anything] players won't have to draw anything in this game.
The host [me] will draw each scene, based upon players choices and actions

That's why I said to not worry if you can't draw, all characters will end up looking equally repugnant once I am done with them - but at least they will look abhorrent together

So: I draw a scene, perhaps with characters in, perhaps not
Players decide what they want to do - and PM me their choices
I collect the PMs, roll any dice that need to be rolled, decide the outcomes, then draw a new scene
Rinse + repeat

Should a player wish to talk, they draw a scene in the thread - with added speech bubble - for their character
Should an NPC need/wish to reply - I will draw them doing as much
