I am sad that Golen Hearts ended. Not only can I feel with the Mangaka, I've actually enjoyed the manga. Really liked the first chapters(+the ones with Noah's mentor) and still enjoyed the flawed chapters which followed afterwards.
Though I am surprised that people seemingly hated GH so much, I've learned that, bc nothing is really written in stone, there are always people who dis/like something, what ever the majority may think and visa versa. And even if you find someone who likes something you like, too, it may for completely different reasons. Life is colorful, with an unending supply of surprises. Which is nice, otherwise things would get boring.
Something I've especially realized after people liked Star Wars: Rogue One so much, which bored me to death actually.
But anyway, I've wanted to ask you a question regarding something-
Which would you describe as worse, when something is just "bad" or simply boring ?
I know some of you will say, that boring is bad, too, but I've learned over the years from several critics and writers, that, if something is boring(either characters, the story or all of these) that this is actually worse. Because even if something is seemingly bad, you at least "feel" something(like being insulted, angry or disappointed). Like, from bad things you can learn something, or even can "enjoy" it by making fun of it. But something that is boring/bland there is not much to it, and is pretty much forgotten immediately.
Like, I would prefer to read the worst book which I have read so far, compared to the ones I was mostly indifferent, because at least, there is something I call tell & feel about the book, which made me raged so much, that I've actually threw it against the walls. Compared to this one, the one which bored me, I can't even recall their names.
