People complaining about the recent One Piece chapter.. Ffs this is nothing like he asspulls Fairy Tail pulled. Actually makes sense. I’ve disliked a lot of this arc but I have no (well, few) problems with Luffy v Katakuri.

Supposedly that Luffy beat Katakuri. Even though Luffy went back to fight Katakuri specifically to expand his haki (which is exactly what he did and why he won) people think it’s an asspull because he was being pwnd like prune at the start of the fight. But like someone said in the discussion thread “yeah, who’d have thought that the guy who does nothing but tank heavy hits from enemies throughout the entire series is better at tanking hits than the guy who‘s described as literally having never been hit in his life? Such an asspull.

It’s like people haven’t actually read the chapters, just looked at the pictures and think “how could Luffy win when Katakuri was so much stronger at first?
