Aye, well, now I know about it - I might just do that...
First time I had it was a year or 4 ago, one of those packages from the grocery store, ya know. Just add some water and meat and done.

But I tried my hand at doing it from scratch, mixing ingredients from time to time. I could translate my recipe for you, but it's a pretty easy meal to prepare.

To sum it up the main (non-sauce) ingredients are rice with raisins, green beans, apple and minced meat.
But you could switch the apple up for a banana, or the green beans for cauliflower.
Even some apricot instead of apple (or dried apricot for the raisins).

Sure, much appreciated

If not, I'm sure I could botch something together (am pretty terrible at following recipes to be fair - am more a 'scratch and sniff' kinda chef)

Yeah.. me too. I don't even have a recipe for it. But I'll just write down what I did earlier today. :XD

Later tonight though, I'm shit at the English names of ingredients, I was already googling a bunch for the last post. :facepalm

Normally I cook Sat and Sun - my wife cooks during the week.

But seeing as I am at home more, recently, due to writing, I've cooked quite a few times this week.

That always sounds so good, but I never have the patience for that.

I'm a fast cook in general, even when there's stuff to marinate or something. It just takes to long :lmao

I'm kinda the opposite - I love to take my time

Also, I love to make things which take a long time
- hams
- cheese
- cider/fruit wine
- biltong

I'm trying to master Thai food. Fried Rice is super easy. My fresh rolls sometimes are rolled perfectly and I still cheat with good Pad Thai and Curry sauce. It's hard to find the ingredients on their own and I'm too lazy to go across town to Asian markets :D

Am I the only one that doesn't like to cook? ..I can cook but I rather not. If I was rich, I would probably never cook. I can clean all day but cook...It's a drag...
Laundry too...
It's backed up again..

Bia, here's one of the eggs, rdy to be taken to Arg^^

The borders are a bit of a disaster, but the ninho cream tastes rly nice and the slightly bitter bigradeiro bellow it should combo well *-*

That egg looks awesome...

Not sure I'd have the effort, to be honest
Last time I did anything like that, I filled an Easter egg shell with the filling from cream eggs - it was expensive, delicious, and, after a bottle of cheap vodka (and a night out), I threw the whole thing back up again later on!

Healthy and delicious, what more could one ask for on Easter?!?

You might well be...

Not like eating, or find the whole process tedious?

Probably one of the best things I did in Thailand was spending 2 days on a cooking course.

Not sure I'd visit Thailand again, however.
Or maybe I would, just not anywhere that I had ever heard of before I arrived.

I love the food, but it's a tad too touristy for my tastes

Lmao I was stupid enough to think it would be cheaper this way than buying 4 eggs. Then I got myself going back to the market like 3 times to get more ingredients. I hope they're delicious, but even if they are, I'm not sure I'd make more in the future xD And as you can see, just revising the plan in my head made me change it from 4 flavors (as I initially mentioned) to a 1 combo of 2 '-' cause damnit...

The ones I cooked with my sis had brigadeiro and beijinho filling (and rice flakes on the beijinho one).
