I mean 'Hooray, you did your job right' ?

I mean sure, if the plane is on fire, the other wing is cut off, we are in a middle of a hurricane and we still land safely on to Hudson river, yeah sure, I'll applaude. But applauding in a Helsinki-London charter that goes there and back 5 times a day every week day. Just why? Might as well applaude when the bus driver stops on each stop.
