People seems to confuse cold hard numbers with downplaying, sad... *sigh*
If I had time to spare I would do a beautiful chart to show how the current series in the magazine evolved in the magazine and how Kimetsu is subpar in term of sales, but I don't have, so...
It doesn't have anything to do with reading it or not. If it had been published in ESJ, I would be reading it right now and I would be saying the same thing because the numbers don't change.

Actually, the cold hard numbers prove that you're wrong. In 2017, Kimetsu had an average ranking of ~4 while Yuuna had an average ranking of ~8. So no, they were not ranking the "about the same". (source: https://mangahelpers.com/forum/posts/4652704/).
Also, while I don't have a source for this, I'm pretty sure Yuuna's sales plateau'd at 100k while Kimetsu's is still increasing with each volume.
The only thing you're really right about is the merchandise sales, but that's obvious since waifus are easier to translate into merch.

Honest question: what's Yuragi story? If there is any.
I've never had the interest to read a summary, but I'm bit curious right now, so what's the main plot and what are the next steps moving forward and why it can end pretty quickly?

In the beginning it was about making Yuuna, a ghost who lives inside the Yuragi inn, pass on into the after life by finding out what regret is holding her back on earth. Since then there were a few smaller stories like a Dragon God trying to make her his wife or a woman from one of the big 3 families trying to make the MC her husband because of his strength.
But for the most part it's been episodic adventures without any story at all.

As for TOC, I said I was not sure on post #4759, go there and see for yourself.
I know the current state of both, after seeing Yuragi numbers, okay, it is stagnated and Kimetsu is increasing, but my point is that Kimetsu hasn't increased as much as other series on the magazine right now, just compare to the 10th volume of other series, even Black Clover was better and it is not known by its high numbers. That was my basis for saying that it may be a concern for anime studios, its limited growth. I think it is a very reasonable argument, but if you don't agree, can't be helped, I think.

So it can actually finish anytime he wants since there is no plot at all anyway, just make her pass on and it is done. lol
I thought it was something more serious in terms of plot given the amount of attorneys it has here.

Just finished 3rd season of Shokugeki anime, and the fact of the Shokugeki anime still having new seasons, makes me think that's because of the streaming licences, the anime is really popular outside of the Japan

https://myanimelist.net/anime/35788/Shokugeki_no_Souma__San_no_Sara

So that's maybe why its still getting new seasons even when the DVD/BDs sales are so low.

Streaming license is peanut btw. Anime popularity outside of JPN has nothing to do with whether a series get another season or not

You aren't wrong.
Last year there was a post (might be yearly sales) or something similar with Jump sales. The first 4 volumes of Yuragi sit at 150k. So it hits 100k before falling off on the chart but still selling. That number isn't far off considering it reaches 1M print circulation around volume 6 and 1.5M print circulation at volume 8.

and Kimetsu print circulation is 1,500,000 copies at volume 7.

I thought season 4 was a split cour?

I doubt SnS's anime is successful and the sales haven't improved much from S3. It's only a matter of time when they realize that and axe SnS.

Pretty sure season 4 will probably be the end of it especially with the falling sales.

New Yuuna anime PV confirmed for AnimeJapan 2018. Probably will debut at the stage on March 24th.
More char designs and some key animation drawings from the first PV revealed in past issues of Jump, don't know if they were posted yet:

DB Super episode this week was really impressive, see Cody, sometimes Toei can be good.

Well, Toei had it's all star team of DBS in this episode so it's fair to be a great episode. And well, Toei has plenty of talented directors, key animators and animators be it new or more older like Shida, Tate, Nakamura, Takahashi, Higashide and plenty of others that do OP, DBS and some did/do Precure. They just need a fair schedule and planning for the production to be in like that so I'm pretty interested to see how the movie will be (even more because the staff is pretty good).

But well, I'm actually surprised by this arc with the quantity of episodes being this good in animation/storyboard, considering that they never recovered from the fact that the schedule and planning in production was a mess in before the anime began.

It's still a downgrade compared to Miura's artstyle but at least seems way better than what we saw in the PV.

I hope so then I don't have to hear those stupid comments like "Reminder SnS is just a cooking manga" whenever something happens

Was it ever resolved if this spring iteration was truly a new season cause of popularity or just a split cour decision like so many other shows. Before the season started it was briefly announced as 24 episodes...

So few shows get to s4 anyway so odds are actually against more food wars anime being made.

it's split cour since it used the same title Shokugeki no Soma SAN no Sora and something something.

Shokugeki no Soma was already against the odds when it got a second and third season, most of the anime don't go further than the first.
Don't get me wrong, I also think it is strange, honestly, and I wanted to know why, but I don't complain at all. They must have a reason, my guess is that Shokugeki no Soma still sells a lot of merchandise and it is a about food, it easy to get a sponsor, I'm not sure in Japan, but in the two countries I lived in my life, Brazil and US, most of the commercials are about food, food everywhere! XD
Manga sales is the least of the worries of anime studios and whatnot in my opinion, it is more deeper than that, you have to consider what the series is about and if it can translate to good sponsors. Food is a good theme.
