I love PVs with no voice acting but only showing scenes with characters talking, copying scenes straight from the manga with little actual animation

This actually looks pretty bland and generic. I assume someone wanted it animated just for a quick cash in for a season.

Soon Shark, soon. Y’all have to admit it’s a step up from the Jump Festa one, it’s vibrant even with the downgrade of the manga style, which isn’t a deathblow either. The first one highkey looked like one of those eroge visual novel games, where the words don’t ever match up with their mouths. The movement and camera panning was slow but that’s the most bad I can say.

Wasn't the one from Festa almost a slideshow or some sort of panning shot? It's not much of an improvement, even if it was, nothing to brag about.

Anyway seems like a souless adaptation on the surface, I hope I'm wrong. I also hope that Kimetsu/TPN don't suffer the same/similar treatment.

Does anybody consider ArcV better than GX? I ask cause I never watched that series nor will I ever watch and mainly cause Yugioh ended for me after GX. One of my favorites of all time but just couldn’t do it. I would rather watch Sun & Moon over any new Yugioh.

Probably Houshin Engi's curse. Any Jump adaptions after Winter 2018 will be boo boo.

I stopped watching yugioh when started going on motorcycles.

I would imagine S&M is a better anime experience. It's the best the pokemon anime has ever been too.

Also just read Noah Notes chapter 3 and Ziga chapter 2. They are both pretty bad.

Chapter 3 for Noah's Notes was good. I hope we get to see more food moments as they travel in various places.

I think Viz is definitely going add Noah’s Notes if it’s first official placement is decent. One their twitter they said “it has a lot of buzz”. So I guess a lot of subscribers have been checking it off on the serveys

The first YGO anime was the best. Gotta give credit where it's due but Toei did a fine job.

Not a fan of GX but Arc-V is widely considered to be the worse series in the franchise by the fandom despite having such a strong start.

I really like Ziga and Noah.

Ziga really should have tried to include all this in the first chapter. This second chapter finally has a hook but the momentum is lost. By ending the first chapter there, we take a break and then are thrown right back into the fray. The chapter title is "Despair -> Anger" and I understand that this was structured as a two parter however the second part feels really underwhelming. Reading it together helps but its still a break in momentum. We'll have to see whether the mangaka can make up for that break with the next chapter but usually, that break can really hold a series back. To go on a slight tangent, this is reminiscent of Heroaca's first episodes. It took a while to fully get into the story following that split and slow pace but it took off eventually. Ziga however is in a much more dangerous situation. I don't think they'll cancel it quickly given the advertising but its got to pick up quick.

I'm not too sure on this Knight's Templar group introduced in Noah. There's already an "antagonist", and one on a big scale. I can't see the point of introducing another one unless its a bait and switch.
