Well, since only the roles that are still in game get shuffled, then I don't see a dramatic scenario change for any side if that happens. Mafia and third parties could get fucked, though. Someone that was mafia before and became townie after it could come out and say "ok, I was mafia, the team has X, Y and Z roles". Not to mention the person could share the numbers so we'd have better intel on how many mafia parties are there. Third parties can also be confirmed this way. As a townie, that sounds awesome to me tbh, lmao. But yeah, it could break the game for the other parties, which is lame.

- Arjuna said his role is passive and activates at night, some people saw it as weird and iffy. Gryff engaged with him on the fact he questioned Crescent's vote only and asked her if she was going to change.
- Asako was posting a lot but not engaging in the game and got called out for that. Claimed she was following advices from Lambu in the past game to remain safer.
- Demon, Asako and shinobi only claimed active or passive, didn't want to provide anything else.
- Wyis accused people of not contributing while he was doing the same.
And I think that's all I recall worthy of pinpointing @.@
Please give us hints.

No, it is a huge change, regardless if Shuffler dies early or late. The mafia/tp info being shared is one thing(which can also be bad for townies who get randomed onto mafia/tp), then also that win conditions change for many players. Imagine a third party works hard and comes far til only 5 are left alive, then he loses his role and becomes a townie/mafia. Everything til then will have been quite irrelevant. Same for mafias/townies.

Imagine a situation of town doing poorly and it looking like a mafia win. Any townie would want to lynch/kill a shuffler in that scenario in hopes of being randomed onto the winning side.

So yeah, best for everyone to not to get too attached to their roles. Best case scenario we win without the shuffler ever dying, but I'm not sure on the probabilities of that.

Then again, the shapeshifter could just hide behind the shuffler and destroy his role completely. As he could do with any one of us really, mafia or town.

At least it will be hilarious if it actually happens, Shapeshifter looks quite cool and dangerous, it might break my thoughts about a Santa.

You know, Arju feels more sincere than in previous games, me voting Asako doesn't change anything, and everyone seems like placing random votes so I will make the step and take responsability for it.

Yeah, these kinda questions are exactly why using suggested roles without proper approval and description was a bad idea :XD

From what I recall of my talks with James consider the Illusion to be a new role given to the people Shapeshifter targets. That role can't do anything though. Otherwise they can all talk and vote, but once shapeshifter dies they all die in a massive death inferno.

Unless James further changed it after our talks. Idk.

The illusion won't be aware they're an illusion, so they can comment and vote/send actions normally, however if any action is used upon them, they shatter and die.

Yeah, its a troublesome role to have in a game, but I'm fine with it being put in the game. I just wish there were some way to cause a shuffler death early or prevent/fight the shuffle in some way. As it stands now, people don't really have a fighting chance against a shuffle which isn't a great..

It's like resetting the game. Those who were happy with their role/alignment will get screwed over and be unhappy. Those that were unhappy with their role will be happy.
All we can do is pray the Shapeshifter removes the Shuffler-boy's role I suppose...

Well, I'm often more worried about playing well myself - for my own standards - than winning per se, so I personally wouldn't feel bad about that. But I guess that's me.
