Yup I didn't post earlier even though I actually checked the thread because I was busy with other stuff, but I'm here now
about my role, as I said earlier I already gave a hint. honestly I don't feel I should say anymore right now, and if you review the list you'll see that my hint isn't bad compared to the stuff in there, but well, I think it doesn't hurt to say that I read the description on my character, and from what I got my role doesn't really fit her!!

Also, Xad said he is almost certain I'm town. Isn't that enough? I know that he already knows what my role is, from one of his earlier posts.

A hint is not a claim. You can hint at day actions but you can't come out and say what role you exactly got. I also hinted day actions last game and got no penalty. And I know some people who tried to make me say my role name but I stood strong.^^

Yeah, and I felt it was as much of a loophole as I find it to be now. "I have a role with day actions that protects people" = "I am Martyr". No two ways about it, really. It's just a matter of spelling it out. But I'm not going to complain about another likely townie not getting penalties at this point...

Tbh now I feel the same way. It looks to me like Xadyu can just say what he knows about Gry - after Gry reveals - even without suffering for it. Gry alrdy made it sound like Xad could have the info from observation, and Xad knows the way now to escape the pênalties (and we can still protect him during this lynching if things don't turn out this way), plus Gry made it sound like it wouldn't be terrible if he would claim his role anyway.

Fair enough Gry, just wanted to clear that up. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the newer players begin to feel that you're automatically legit.

Anyway, Van, I also agree with Xad giving what he has, because imo, the lack of info would only hurt town, especially if he dies (with seems rather likely at this point) plus he'd no doubt feel regret if he dies without getting to say everything he could. But I also considered that if Xad has something on Gry but still hasn't gone for me, then it implies he thinks Gry is innocent? In which case, it might not be necessary to reveal what he has. If we're to assume Xad's 'theoretical' means of getting info is legit, and it doesn't implicate Gry, then we could leave it be for now. Odds of both dying tonight is rather slim imo, and at least if both die, then at least the Janitor gets to kill only one. All things considered, it might not be such a bad idea to keep it for now imo

Like I said earlier, I plan to tell what I know if there's a danger of me being killed, which I'm not yet feeling. But who sees a day-kill coming, right?

The correct way of approaching this, for me, would be to have @GrySun come clean first, that's the only way for me to fully confirm my information. For 100%. I'm close to that now, but that's the only way. If we do it the other way around he could still lie. Like I said, I'm pretty sure he's a townie, but I'm not a 100% clear.

Yep, I agree. Besides, if @GrySun said his role doesn't get back host PMs, he won't be able to confirm his role on his own anyway unless he's implying something like Innocent Townie or Time Bomb or DTV. So I'd rather force him to at least reveal what category his role belongs to and have @Xadyu confirm it (or deny it). Worst case scenario for him, Gry is mafia or TP and he has to go with a possibly troublesome claim. Better than running the risk of Xadyu getting offed and losing his info forever for no reason, especially if it checks out and we can drop some suspicion from Gry.

Bs There exists no suspicion on Gry. There‘s either mafias among you bunch or for some reason you‘re forcing yourselves to not trust me. Think I’d be talking so much if I was a mafia? What bad townplay tbh.

If there‘s really no way around it I‘ll play along and get those last 2% from Xad to confirm me, but I still think this is very much unnecessary. Not that I expect to live long with 3 parties anyway, but a day 2 reveal while everyone stays silent on weak hints is not my thing..

I alrdy said it, if Gry is lying, this serves as a limitation for him to work with later. It's still valid to say it - either to still help us check on Gry, or to hinder him. Xad himself said he's confident Gry is townie, just wanted to be 100%.
That being said, with 2 people vouching for Gry (Xad and Zasz) and him insisting he wants to keep his role hidden for now, maybe we should let him have it his way. He might have a good reason for that.
