This game was a meme.
I think that should be more than enough for post-game comments from my side. But might as well say a bit more. Fun fact: Had Town lynched someone else this last day, Holt could've recruited lawl, who fakes his results and they win as the first ever Third Party win.
First, the role list was crafted around it being a fast game while also including plenty of fun roles to steer the game. In that sense Detective really wasn't very important of a role unless the game dragged on.
- The mafias were built to support their Assassin, with the Poisoner allowing for strats to fool townies combined with Daykills and an Escort who could protect them from the Mentor, or block one of the 4 active townie roles. Since I think Assassin is too strong, I was more comfortable with leashing him to a Lover. Jesus was a good fit in case he dies early. For this game I also tested a changed Lovers win condition: that they can't win with Town/Mafia individually, so they would have to work together. I'd say their chances to win were great, with Jesus allowing for a lot of good strats to use during days.
- Mentor was the fun pick for Third Party. When making the roles, I thought "the chance of him killing the Assassin of all people early isn't that big anyway". Oh how wrong that turned out to be... He could have recruited a Mentee and just like the Lovers, his chances to win were pretty good.
- Town had a det and doc, a Spy as an added helper if he targets the right person(which he didn't? =3=). I didn't want kills to be prevented this game to keep it going fast, so Hider was a good pick for a townie that can't die, but could also screwup and add to the death count. Cowboy as their daykiller, with a Martyr to combo with him, as well as protect some more important people from the Assassin. None of these things happened with him though. Vengeful was a fun one I hoped to get lynched. Restless isn't a strong role, but a pretty good fit in this fast game, had he died he could make good use of the extra vote.
There's not much to say for night actions.
Night 1
goodboy_lawlett -> Investigate Farfalla -> Innocent
Vandred -> Spy on Demonspeed -> No result
Purity of Magi -> didn't send in an action, making

proud =3=
Farfalla -> Poison Vandred
Crescent_jinxgrace -> Block Organizized
Holt -> Recruit TSPanda
Night 2
goodboy_lawlett -> Investigate Takuan -> Guilty
Vandred -> Spy on Lambu -> No result
Purity of Magi -> Protect goodboy_lawlett
Crescent_jinxgrace -> Kill Purity of Magi -> Cointoss Failed
Holt -> Recruit Crescent_jinxgrace
I wonder if the outcome would've been different had Crescent not lost her cointoss and killed Magi? Holt did as much wrong as possible, but still almost won at the end. The only reason he lost was because Takao saved the day with locking him, and because he memed himself by getting 3 penalty votes. Having the first ever TP win ruined yourself by getting 3 penalty votes, now that's what I call a really fitting conclusion to a game such as this.
Oh and here's a Magi simulator:
1. Make a post
2. Say you're off
for real now
3. Come back in 5 minutes
4. Repeat from step 1
Just found it funny I lost count of how often she did exactly that over all 3 day phases
Final words, overall this game I would consider a failure. I wanted to test Assassin, Lovers and Discord this game. Assassin I consider broken and wanted more statistics on his strength, but he died early. Lovers were given a really good combo to see how they'd fare with that, but died early. Discord I only saw the mafia and lovers pad
for a single night. By night 2 both pads were dead. And don't make me screenshot you the empty Mentor-Mentee pad. Holt ruined everything

Game wasn't even much active, so from that I conclude MGs really need a month or so break time between them, with the previous game ending just a week ago most weren't that much in the mood for another game. The most active people were those that didn't play the previous one.
I still had plenty of fun with the theme, writing out all the posts

And following some of the messy times during days. So all that said, thanks to everyone for playing.
