My hype level just increased seeing this. I know Nisekoi is pretty controversial around here, but I always loved it.

Interested in Jujutsu’s future rankings. Personally I enjoyed it enough to see it stick around. And imo the quality didn’t necessarily improve or decrease since the first chapter(based on the 3 Viz chapters that is)

Yeah, you're right about the quality of chapter 2 and 3 being the same. By this, I mean that after chapter 2 and 3, the manga is still missing one of the most important aspects: mysteries or rather sth. that readers want to look forward to.

Up to chapter 3, it barely tells the reader what to expect in the future. Unless you're counting going to school and eating another 18 of the same finger he already ate twice, I don't think you can find anything in these 3 chapters that readers would want to look forward to.

Some readers might be fine if chapter 1 doesn't give them sth to look forward to and expect chapter 2 to do that instead. But since chapter 2 and 3 fail to do the same, readers will get bored and drop the manga, which will result in it dropping down the ranks.

Act-Age for example was fairly consistent as well, but went down the ranking despite that, because it is missing sth as well. Although I'm not entirely sure what is missing.

I think it's as simple as Act-Age just doesn't fit in the magazine. It would fit a lot more in a magazine like Sunday or Magazine.

Definitely agree with that. That's also one of the reasons why I don't think it'll last very long although I'm enjoying it.

So they got a Johnny's to play Raku. I personally haven't seen Nakajima in too many movies and dramas so I can't say anything about his acting but it really does seem like they're billing his movie on his presence. He's part of Sexy Zone which does quite well in sales so you have the Johnny Otaku to come watch the film just to see him. The reaction is pretty good on twitter so it might become a hit.

Yeah that's pretty much the reason why I can't get into these live action adaptations of high school manga. They always use actors who look like they're 30.

So I just looked them up and turns out the dude is 25 and the girl is 21. I don't know if it's just me, but that promotional image makes them look older than that.

BLeach is going to movie theaters in JPN so I cant imagine non shaky cam versions wont be out until the BD release in late 2018/2019...

Death Note live action was on Netflix, Death Note TV live action was on CR, Full Metal Alchemist was on Netflix, HuluJPN had a few, CR had a few, funi had Tokyo Ghoul among others, otherwise use your googling skills for others..

Actually I'm not sure about this forum's stance on torrent sites, but there's a certain anime focused torrent site you can check out. Just filter by english translated live action.

Will wait for tomorrow to understand what's going on but judging pictures only Build King one shot is nothing spectacular. It reads like Toriko. From World building, Character Personality to Villain.

From the few tweets out, Build King seems to be really fun. I think it's best to make the one shot read like Toriko as it'll help it out with popularity with the hype & show the series potential.

If it does get serialized, it would be amazing if he combines the elements that made Toriko successful/popular (world building, hype, fight, setup, etc.) & Takeshi (enjoyable/fleshed out characters & wacky comedy).

I googled "ハ ー フ" and one of the first pics I saw were of this model, Yuriya/Julia Kimura, daughter of an Australian/Russian guy with a Japanese woman. She is more Chitoge than the Chitoge of the live action. Hey, japanese casting, pay attention!
