Can we just all agree that as long as it’s not Toei or Pierrot

Yuuna is Aniplex: http://www.aniplex.co.jp/lineup/anime/yuragisou/
Aniplex had nothing to do with Key anime before Angel Beats. They also have March Comes in Like a Lion, Nisekoi, the Honeyworks stuff, Gurren Lagan, Madoka, Baccano, The Irregular at Magic High and more. Point is Aniplex does a lot without A1.
Those are all licenses. And you're still wrong, why don't you people know the difference between license share holder and subcontarctor?

Lol Yonkou is messing with people, I'm not even sure he already knew what the actual studio yet...

why are people connecting Onamae to Aniplex? isn't that just a domain registering website?

Since TPN is not getting a CP next issue (23)... the 1st official news might be on Issue 24,
so.... Cover or just CP?

If it's done by A1, it's probably the 3rd worst studio after Toei and Pierrot, imo. Of course they did some good anime adaptations like Your Lie in April, but lots of anime adaptations they do are rushed to death (for example Nanatsu no Taizai and Erased). At least, I don't think they've actually done a good adaptation of any manga recently.

Build King was a good one shot. I think we got a good sample of what to expect and there's a lot of potential. MC is more on the "cute"/gullible side as someone mentioned which is interesting. Kugi reminds me of Gon in some ways but overall I hope it gets serialized. While this one shot does kinda read like Toriko, I don't think it should be that alarming right now.
hmmmm, you people automatically liked Build King the moment it was announced Shimabukuro will do a new oneshot
You mean liking as in thinking it's quality? No. We were hyped more so than automatically liking & thinking it'll be quality. I remember thinking, yeah, this looks really promising since to me it seemed like Shimabu wanted it to become a series and felt like this one shot could go somewhere unlike his recent oneshots that seemingly were just for "fun". Perhaps that's why some of us felt hyped for it.

someone even used its mc as his avatar
*waves* :D
other were asking about the chances of it getting serialized/how fast until something is serialized
Nothing wrong with that.
last week, you said you liked the leaks that didn't make any sense without context
yesterday you said you liked the raw despite not speaking Japanese
We had context, a synopsis & confirmed an architect/battle shonen...stop lying. We obviously never had the full picture but it wasn't hard at all to piece together where this series can head off too.

so today after you read the full oneshot in English and you say you like it what gives your opinions any credibility? for weeks you've been admitting to liking a thing without reading it and literally judging a book by its cover
also, how do we know you haven't done this to other titles? how do we know you didn't like/dislike something without reading it?
This is a one shot of all things, why should credibility be of question. It literally takes like 2 minutes or less to read the one shot and formulate your own opinion. No one praised it as the best thing ever, we even admitted it reads like Toriko and clearly needs some fine tuning with it's story telling. Other than that, it was good.

Obviously, I'm not going to be massively critical on a one shot of all things since to me it's sole purpose is to show the potential of the series. That's really it. I never went in expecting some innovative character development or characterization. To me this feels like a rough draft and I feel like it delivered.

I did say it was "GOAT" after seeing the spoilers but if you're going to take that seriously then I really don't what to say. Literally playing along with the meme after someone thought Build King should be a meme along with Galaxy Gangs. I'm sorry for having fun then.

Build King really reads like it was made with a serialization in mind. It doesn't give much information about the world or a lot of characterization but there is some charm to it. The way it runs through its story is similar to Toriko but the art is almost a downgrade from Toriko. Something about the line-work seems off. Also I know Shimabukuro has always had rather old-fashioned art but this seems particularly so. Also, the pages are too busy. Its very much "pure shounen", on the same level as BC but in a different vein. There is however something almost too childish, almost like its made for Coro Coro's demographic. With a little reworking, I think it could make it big in Jump plus knowing Nakano, he probably wants Shimabukuro back in Jump.
I found the art to be messy too. I'm not sure the reason for the decline, maybe it being 55 pages had something to do with it idk. His past one shots were like 19 pages and was still more or less on the level as Toriko. It does feel really childish and the MC is really Gon like but a bit more goofy/upbeat. I can see this MC being lovable but I hope he ends up being more along the lines of Takeshi than Toriko.
At it's peak, what kind of volume sales was Seikimatsu Leader den Takeshi! pulling off?
No one really knows the exact numbers. I found some series at prints, they look good for a series with no anime/big push. It also won a children's award.

I can give you a good ballpark of how Takeshi was doing at volume 7 compared to other big titles.
7 volumes
*10,850,000 - Slam Dunk
**7,800,000 - One Piece
**7,055,000 - Assassination Classroom
**7,000,000 - Rurouni Kenshin
**4,600,000 - Midori no Makibao
**3,700,000 - My Hero Academmia
**3,500,000 - Pyu To Fuku! Jaguar
**2,900,000 - Shokugeki no Soma
**2,700,000 - To Love-Ru
**2,630,000 - Seikimatsu Leader Den Takeshi
**2,500,000 - Haikyuu!!
**2,000,000 - Nisekoi
**2,000,000 - Nuraryhiyon no Mago
**1,750,000 - Kuroko no Basket
**1,627,000 - PSI KUSUO Sainan
***,900,000 - Inumarudashi
***,500,000 - Eyeshield 21

With the final vol. (volume 24), it had 8,000,000 copies in print. That's all I really know.

A-1 is really really really really inconsistent and I don't really trust them with shounen adaptation at all but we'll see, if TPN is prestigious enough they'll put their best effort into it...I hope. Or Yonkou could just be fucking with us again and it turns out to be WIT Studio.

And how do we know that Neverland isn't a license?

How can it be a license when we don't know the studio? Why would a licensor create a domain registry to begin with unless they were the subcontractor?

Yonkou is teasing the studio on twitter? Is the youtuber trolling or what?

I thought we were gonna sacrifice Kimetsu/TPN future anime adaptations to bring back World Trigger. :cheez

Yonkou is a known attention-whore and drama queen he'll milk this for what its worth until the day of the announcement.

I don't trust A-1 either. I'd also like to believe that whoever gets the anime will do their best. I expect a stellar staff regardless of the studio, this manga is the type of thing that they can't mess up, I hope...

All we can do is wait for the confirmation. I'd love to see WIT. Yonkou isn't really fucking with us, he only confirmed the anime and nothing else.

Neverland getting an anime before Kimetsu, even with Kimetsu having 110 chapters already...

Is Kimetsu the new Hinomaru Zumou?
TPN had a far stronger start and Kimetsu had a lot of trouble finding success at first. It is growing a lot but I think an announcement at the end of the year or early 2019 seems appropriate.

ok. just know, when you people act like Sharkbait whenever he sees cute boys I'm gonna treat you the way we treat Sharkbait when sees cute boys

*waves back*

Nothing wrong with that.

1-context and full picture are the same thing in my book
2-we never had a detailed synopsis until today
3-it's hard to piece together where the series can head off too based on 2 short sentences and 3 random pictures
4-even if you pieced together the story your opinions are still invalid since the things you filled the empty spaces with will be different from what other people filled it with

I trust that A1 would do well with it. And personally they never released anything i hate. I thought the 7 Deadly Sins anime was fine(I'm not huge on the manga or anime though), and Erased is amazing until the last couple episodes. But i blame that on 12 episodes simply not being enough to reasonable adapt it. Should have been like 15 or 16 episodes, but you rarely see that.

By the way, Yonkou never said that it was confirmed to be CloverWorks.

No one in this forum thought Yonkou said that. The rumor came from the website. Someone on twitter and reddit was saying Yonkou said A1/Cloverworks

"I want more of the thing that doesn't exist & I want it now!"
Or perhaps he was curious and wanted to know IF he ends up liking it? It's not like he was demanding for it to be serialized. Well he can speak for himself if he wishes but I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Even I considered the possibility of this one shot being a flop.
1-context and full picture are the same thing in my book
2-we never had a detailed synopsis until today

1- Wrong wc on my part
2- This synopsis was posted a week before the one shot and sufficed, alongside of the 3 "random" pictures that were obviously the house we saw in the preview.
Build King preview says its about a boy named Kugi who builds houses for animals and that he has a secret. Its also described as a “Shocking Build Battle” Oneshot and mentions that a villain has appeared in the Build World.
3- Not really.
4- Did I not say where it's not hard to piece together where the series can head off too, rather than will? This is the same mangaka that took eating/hunting food to a near galactic level at the end.

I don't see why can't we be critical of a oneshot? as long as you treat it as a short completed story, there are good short stories and there are bad ones
With a one shot there's only so much you can squeeze in and show off, even if the series is expected to be short. Like I said the one shot is more like to test the water, it's the rough draft. I don't see the point in being massively critical keeping that in mind.
