I hope it's a comedy. With Saiki gone and Gintama in its final arc, WSJ needs to start cultivating the next generation of new comedy series. At the bare minimum though, I just hope it's not another exorcism series...New round!
What do you guys want it to be? Could it already be Build King?
was gintama really a leader in comedy? i thought even it had to go the ultra serious route.I hope it's a comedy. it never went "ultra serious" even the more serious arcs are still filled with comedy.was gintama really a leader in comedy? i thought even it had to go the ultra serious route.
It's more correct to call it a comedy with a story. Except the story moments only make up like 1/5 of the series, and because the series started on it's final stretch, it's obviously been mostly serious since then. Still way more comedy in the serious arcs than your average series though.was gintama really a leader in comedy? i thought even it had to go the ultra serious route.
It’s probably replacing Bozebeats. How many spots for new serializations are currently available? If there's more than 1 new series planned, will something have to be axed to make room?
Act-Age probablyThey've got 18 series right now so there's maybe 2 slots open. Any bets on what else could end in two weeks?
You're acting like there aren't 4 new series ripe for the picking... Take into account it's a few weeks away, plus if Act-age ends first that gives another week for the next other series. Or even have a gap of a week or two mid-round. So even if they decide to get rid of them all, they'll still make then ~12 chapter mark. How many spots for new serializations are currently available? Act-Age probably
Did Act-Age's most recent chapter give any indication that the end could be near? That wouldn't stop the ax from coming down, but it could make it a bit easier to tell if it's actually on its way outYou're acting like there aren't 4 new series ripe for the picking... If it's only two new series, nothing will end. Act-Age probably would be the next one in line, but the raws to me don't really look like the ending is close. So it might survive one more round and get cancelled the next one. Wouldn't be surprised if it's just two new manga this time. Act-Age does at least trade places with Robo, so it might not do as bad as we think. They've got 18 series right now so there's maybe 2 slots open. Any bets on what else could end in two weeks?
I believe there was a chapter where two characters were facing off by pooping, in between said ultra serious arc.was gintama really a leader in comedy? i thought even it had to go the ultra serious route.
