From time to time, he still worked on some Madhouse shows because of his past connections but he was definitely not a freelancer.

Can you for once read carefully before you act like an asshole? I said he wasn't a freelancer before God Eater and that's a fact. Just because they're an employee doesn't mean they don't have the permission to work for another studio. Yutaka Nakamura is a Bones employee but he still worked on One Punch Man. Same goes for Toshiyuki Tsuru who directed Gungrave at Madhouse even though he's a Pierrot employee.

Lol that manga is sooooo bad. I think the sales are declining so I'm not sure if it'll get an anime but maybe just because of the popularity of the author.

Looking at its current sales I don't think no one does. Though an anime for it will probably save it from declining further.

Now this is some historical revisionist groupthink if I've ever seen it.
Toei's One Piece was great up until Thriller Bark, brings the manga to life in a way few adaptations have.
It's rather inconsistent nowadays in terms of pacing and art, but so was Dragon Ball and it's why One Pace is a thing.

Never said Toei’s looked bad pre time skip. Just think that IG OVA looks better. The fact the Toei fell off at a certain point strengthens my opinion though
