Yeah, copy pasting/tracing stock images is very different from tracing other people's artworks of characters.

Inio Asano indeed does this, Kengo Hanazawa for I Am A Hero too (them doing that was even shown in the Manben documentary episodes of them), Sui Ishida prominently does it for Tokyo Ghoul in terms of locations and city images and stuff, and many, many more mangaka do it.
Hell Murata does it as well. One of the most popular sequences in OPM had copypasta Google Earth images.

Most mangakas does that with objects and scenery. The first time I learned about the technique was in a Love Hina artbook, in the early 2000s.

In Asano's case, the thing is even more laborious, because despite drawing over a photograph, he still uses the pen to add more details. See 13: 30.

Off topic but I wonder why there's such little news about the MHA movie. It premiers late July and there's been so little promotion aside from a 15 second teaser and promotional art
Its August 3rd. And honestly the only thing missing is a second trailer. Its been heavily promoted every week when a new episode airs introducing the movie only VAs and everything. I'm sure we should be getting a lot more promos within the next few months as the movie draws closer, wouldn't be surprised if the next cover page is artwork of the movie much like what came about with One Piece, Naruto and Bleach.

It's rather common for many digital artists to use rendered images in their manga art. I've lost track of how many times I've lost track of the amount of times I've seen this exact shot of Tokyo International Airport in manga.

Even Tokyo Ghoul:re started crediting a photographer in its volume releases, which Sui Ishida sent to different locations in Tokyo for location placement and background art renders.
Here's a compilation of locations:
Here

So this isn't something that's new, nor uncommon, in regards to the Noah's Notes thing.

They really did overestimate the success of the Boruto movie.

I actually went back to check the number of days to get a better idea and its probably even worse for Boruto.

It still sold less than the previous volume despite having an extra day on the market. Just looking at the respective 3 week sales, the drop is almost laughable, though its total volumes in print is still good, 2.06 million for 4 volumes. But it does seem like the Naruto brand name effect is (or already has) wearing off.

That one spoiler pic someone posted of the new romcom was even more uninspiring than the preview. The Kubo interview on TBS radio regarding how during pre-Bleach days Torishima would straight up tell him "your manga is not good, read Dragon Ball and write like this" I think pretty much confirmed that Jump wants all their romcoms to focus on misunderstandings and gags, ala Nisekoi or Yuuna, like they want their battle shonen to be. I don't even hate it, but it's 100% eyeroll-able at times and can get old fast.

I truly wonder when do you guys think we'll get something like Nozoki Ana in Jump. I highly recommend this one, either enjoy or ignore the fanservice but mainly read for its story. Blew me away, does exactly what mainstream romance don't: dives deep on its characters while uses misunderstands and gags as a secondary form of entertainment. It even handles scandalous actions well. 10/10

Ao no Flag is, for me, a good example of romcom, much better than Nisekoi and We Never Learn, but commercially speaking, is not as effective.

I read Hatsukoi Zombie and it's pretty much everything I'd want in a quirky romcom

There's a rumour, with a high probability to be fake, in 5ch that Neverland is going to be on Noitamina in 2019. That same person also said that Kimetsu has super important announcement along with its 2nd anniversary for the cover next issue. Lycopyne is also supposedly moving to Jump+.

It seem Tomatoypoo no Lycopene end in issue 27 and move to Jump Plus.
Yakusoku no Neverland anime starts in 2019 on "noitaminA" timeslot of Fuji TV.

Nozoki Ana is a seinen manga, so definitely never. At least, not to the levels of fan service the series has in it. Great manga, though. One of my favorites. Blue Flag and Hatsukoi Zombie are great, too. Wish we could get more traditional, non-harem romance manga in Jump, but harem manga seem to be what sell these days, unfortunately :feelsbadman
