Katsugeki was announced ounced 6 months before their premiere (Katsugeki still managed to have production problems despite that gap) Fate/Zero was announced 8 months before its premiere and God Eater was announced 5 months before its premiere.
I'm not sure where you even checked your dates but they're all wrong. Katsugeki was announced in
March 2016, 16 months before it aired in July 2017. Zestiria was announced in
June 2015, an entire year before it aired in July 2016. Fate Zero was actually announced
10 months before it aired on October 2011. God Eater was also announced
10 month before it aired on TV.
Their model isn't very different and their flubs largely tend to be because their time management isn't that good. UBW and Heaven's Feel are the only exceptions and the latter is a movie.
No you don't understand. They're very different than most studios because the background art, compositing, photography, 3D animation, key animation and inbetweens are
mostly done inside their own studio. Most studios like Bones for example don't even draw their own backgrounds and outsource it to other studios. The background art for MHA is done entirely in Atleier Musa. Studio Pierrot outsources the background art for Black Clover to Studio Easter.
This is good news. Their production is most likely way ahead of TPN's if they already have a PV prepared. (Unless it's pre-animated)
I'm sure it's going to air in Spring 2019.
