Hey, compared to desin, I'm a fucking talk show host.

Basically to find who's mafia and who's townie, we hint at each others role and try to find the shady ones that are mafia pretending to be townies.
Also try to not be specific on your role hint if you're townie cuz that could make the mafia target you, but like I'm one to talk here about that, my hints are usually rather specific.
But also if you're townie make it sth close to the role you're at as mafia tend to leave their claim rather open to have the opportunity to change to an other role to claim if there's multiple people with the same role.

I hope I explained the basics of hinting well.
I wish there was someone that told me all of this when I first played this.

Thank you very much but I know the basics of hinting. I'm familiar with Mafia lol. I'm also not against doing it, or even out-right claiming but I think it should be reserved to when you're suspected and a majority is asking you to do so.

I just don't see the need to do it at the start of the game. We're just sharing free information to an already informed minority. You can and should be able to find scum through day discussions and not rely on claims/hints that much.

It looks like you guys do things a bit differently and that's all right. I'll just try my best to adapt lol.

You don't have o reveal if you don't want to, but depending on the situation it'll make you look more suspicious. Regardless of your alignment.

Oh, I'm not against it especially if asked to by a majority or when a mass claim is necessary later on to break the game. I was just surprised to see some do it without any pressure.

Role hinting and claiming are pretty common here, as opposed to some different Mafia Games that I've played where it's not necessary.

I guess I'll have to adapt to the culture here, lol.

Not entirely sure how to think about this.

The thing SoD is that especially on D1 I prefer observing. There is no lynchtrain yet and most people vote by their gut feeling.

Regarding the powerup system. Just by the name Hunter does imply some more active requirements also involving some other players. Limitbreaker might be more linked to one's own actions.

For now I will votekill Zasz For good old tradition's sake.

I'm a little iffy over Sidmo. Last time we had someone come in like "Oh. You all play this game differently" it was a sketchy Mafia play. Then again, could just be a new member being a new member.

I'm not sold on Tak's general weirdness at all today either, and sequentially, Hey, who seems very keen to save the guy's ass.

Votekill Emperor Spriggan for 3 reasons.

1. It's day 1 and I really have no definite suspects. No one stood out completely. He's my default guy.

2. It might not mean much but I found his insistence on figuring out what Takuan's role is a bit too much. Kinda felt like he was starting his mafia job early by pressing for the specific role to possibly eliminate or gauge the threat level. Wouldn't want to target someone who could take you out with them eh? Like the pgo you keep mentioning Plus pointing out Asako might be a doctor. Since when did we start painting targets on our important roles? If she was a doctor that's one of the last things we'd want to draw attention to on the first day.

3. He's always naturally shady. Always.

Ugh. This reminds me that I subconsciously been pitying Sprig and Gryff for their early deaths in their last games and largely ignored those two. But you‘re right with what you point out about Sprig in point 2...

Before you leave, can you write me some thoughts on some players that caught your eye, and explain why Kato among all these players?

Such things help in getting people to not vote you you know, and I‘m still thinking who to lock myself.

desin‘s been lurking a lot this game, so out of the non-Xadyu people with 2 votes he‘d be my first pick I think. But I also don‘t particularly think Xad needs saving from what he‘s said so far.

There is not too much too work with so far so the thread is open in a side tab while I do my work but still seeing if anything new happens. I¨m not a fan of pushing too hard on day one since it can easily lead to misjudgements or some people gaining too much trust on day one
