So simply being in love with someone isnt enough to make someone a great waifu so 1st thing is to define what are the qualities that makes a great waifu, to me there’s the personality (i d rather a slightly spiced person (not in wrong way) than a bland char thats for me what makes characters like Olivier in Fma for so great instance) being emotionnaly strong (being a strong/badass fighter is great optional quality). being a caring ( but not in the overwhelming way) being at least family centred especially with children, being concerned in creating a peaceful place for the ones she loves, and also being protective. Being funny is a top option too

Of course Kouka is all this and even more

So kouka is not a a main not even a secondary character that appears only in flashback sequences. She’s Kagura and Kamui’s mother and Umibozu’s wife. She is as you can see a gorgeous woman, with red hair

She’s an awesome fighter like all red-haired yeah she’s from Uzumaki Yato clan after all

She was a very lonely person (she’s been living by her own in a quite creepy planet before meeting her lover) she appears cold but shes a lot caring, also shes not the kind to be a submissive woman she is described as such : “the strongest man in the universe becomes the weakest at home” but kouka cloves and care deeply her family to the point of risking her own life just to stay by their side.

Onegai support Kouka, she’s an awesome character and likely one of the greatest waifu around

hmm only watched a few episodes of gintama, so not sure who to vote for.

You re not supposed to vote for a series but for a character that is supposed to be waifu material

I ve explained why she deserves to win on post 1 will add some vids later so you have no excuse

Look, I'm aware Kuchiha is going to lose, again, in the first round '-' It's fine, I'll keep trying. Not losing with only 1 vote for her would be awesome though, so I do accept sympathy '-'

The main point of nominating her again (and more nominations on her will come) is to try, once more, to introduce Amatsuki to people. This is a manga community and I think people are missing out on a great on going series @.@ So this, and nominations in other competitions, will be a long term campaign for the series as a whole! '-' But since this is Waifu Wars, I'll focus more on Kuchiha in this post. So yeah, I'll use her as my promotion means.

Appearance: just like the manga overall, Kuchiha is gorgeous... Her design is just a sample of the high quality, unique and detailed art the series has. As the series takes place during the Edo period, most characters look like any japanese (including Kuchiha): light skin, black hair and eyes. As a fighter, Kuchiha is also tall and fit. I like that Amatsuki is verisimilar to how Japan actually is, instead of having colorful characters everywhere. Color here is used for poetic means (and the ones that look different don't belong to the human world or old Japan).

Background: Kuchiha's name means "faded flowers". She's the last one of her line, the ones that are 'cursed' by carrying an Inugami. Her grandpa gave her that name in the hopes she'd be trully the end of their kind. Her family died early and she was homeless for a period, later being raised by a priest. Won't go on further not to spoiler people @.@... but that's another important thing in Amatsuki: fate. The series revolves and debates a lot around the concept of fate and how people face it. It has tons of references on japanese literature and beliefs, which makes the whole script much more intricate.

Personality: since Kuchiha had it hard, she's a tough and objective person that heavily despises whoever takes life for granted.

Nevertheless, she'd go out of the way to aid people, including the ones she's not fond of, and is able to accept and admit when she built a shallow opinion on someone (and now I won't share more pages so I don't spoil people @.@). She's portraited as kind, loyal and fearless, but she has her own way of doing things, in search of understanding the role of a cursed girl in the world.

Amatsuki is a journey. The way it makes you raise questions, face conflicts, review thoughts and the likes is one of the its charms for me. The characters overall are very appealing, specially the three main ones and antagonists. I invite you - and will keep insisting on it - to go meet Kuchiha yourself, form your on impressions on a badass magnetic lady and how things play between her and the MC, and come back in the future to share your view. This is a series people just can't miss xD and seeing others recently investing effort in introducing other gems to members here made me wanna come back and pursue this o/
I'm sure that Kuchiha will go far in the future, once people do that. Sadly, unlike Hak, it's not something I can attempt asking people to do now, within this battle time frame, with only a few chapters... as I said, Amatsuki is a journey: a long, complex yet enjoyable one.

I think this should be the closest outcome in this round

Ugh, I honestly doubt. I'll take myself as an example: if there's a nominee I like and deem fitting for the competition against one I know nothing about, I'll very likely go with the first option. Unless i can do some quick learning about the other character (which, in Kuchiha's case, it's somewhat not possible, you can see a bit in the first 10 or 11 chapters, but it's still very little - even if it doesnt look that way at first) and maybe change my mind.
That's why this is a long term thing @.@ and not only about Kuchiha. Amatsuki has many heavily layered chars and a dense plot, I'll see my mission as accomplished if I get a few readers alrdy '-'

@niichan i knew you were a huge fan of Gintama but bc most of people i know who enjoy a lot gintama usually dont care that much abt Kouka (she s not even a secondary character she didnt appear a lot and so) i didnt expect you to like her that much, im so so glad you think of her that way,
