So, are you saying you don't believe Seraph's and Erin's versions? The Mafia Det strategy is applicable to your case as well, since Holt could be the random townie you chose to investigate and claim as your teacher (with something going wrong, leading to your point about having been blocked). On top of the Insane Apprentice version, as well.
Same question as for Seraph. In light of the recent revelations, how would you suggest we proceed today and tonight? See Panda's strat up there, too.
You know, Takuchi flipped mafia pirate. It's feasible that they stole the role from Erichi, and now that Takuchi passed away, that Seraph is claiming pirate for himself? (but idk if it would still say 'mafia pirate')
I'm pretty sure it would show "Pirate" in red, just like it would show "Doctor" in red if he'd have stolen from a Doc. Besides, the flavour text from the hosts mentioned that Takuan had died before managing to steal a role, so that should settle it.
I mentioned this to Demon earlier, the tidbit about defending Zasz and then somewhat discarding him later (notice how Demon made little effort to interrogate Zasz with special role): what if they wanted to use the poison ability on Lambu night 1? I'm thinking this because the suspect mafia members are very pushy to reveal roles and stuff, but tbh, with town as is, they could afk no? I believe that there actually might be an SK (who then killed Lawl N1 and Takuchi N2). As long as their Mafia Detective can survive, they'd be able to find the SK.
An interesting scenario is if there is a mafia detective that found out Erichi's role, told the fam and now Seraph is claiming it.

Yeah, that's the main mafia play that one of our Apprentice claimers could be trying to pull off. As for who to catch first between the mafia and possible SK, I'd say those who might have an Escort, Mafia Det and Boss should come before the lone killer
Why don't we make Eri and Seraph both target Jinx? If I'm right about Jinx and if Seraph is lying, Erichi will die. If Seraph is speaking the truth, either he or Erichi will die. If I'm wrong about Jinx, we'll have an apprentice that can emulate someone's role There's of course the slim chance they'll kill Erichi to hide the fact that she's the pirate
It could be worth a shot, even though there are still some pesky variables like a possible Escort messing with the outcome, one of them claiming they were blocked, or Seraph and Erin being mafia buddies (which would mean a heck of a gamble on their part). Still, it's not too bad as a way to call ourselves out of this mess and making them kinda sort it out on their own.
The worst-case scenario, however, would be that Crescent is lying, Seraph and Erin are both legit, and with the mafia kill and the likely third party, we could lose FOUR townies in a single night.
