i cant wait to be out of here. my family is driving me nuts. my sister is too lazy to get off her ass and help me cook so mom has a hot meal ready when she comes back from a 12 hour shift at work, and i dont know how to cook that well, so the meal ends up getting burned, i have to ask my mom for help, its not ready until well after she got home, and to top it off, we get in a fight because she thinks that i'm lazy, while my sister gets treated like the perfect child who never did anything wrong, while she sits back and plays video games, drinks, gambles, and smokes all day long! WTF?! GAH!!!!!!

i really need a punching bag x.x

Yomiko - that's definetly the same wagamama that they have over in London. I used to eat there when I was a student living there (Covent Garden I beleive). Rabb - they have one in fanuel hall as well as harvard square

Ichi - no joke, my boss has been gone all week so I just closed the door to my office today and took a two hour nap. Not many people were around because of the summer, so I think I got away with it.

You too Yomiko? That's really cool!! It was a really expenseive place for an American college kid. I had so much fun over there. I didn't live it up by any stretch, but it did help that the program I was on (Boston University - London, via UVM) set you up with internships. I somehow fooled them and wound up wih on the few cool jobs that got paid. Not much, but enough to buy a rew rounds at the pub.

I think I mostly came away with a love of guinness, british humor and good indian food (which may sound strange).

Very true, very true. I luckily made it to Dublin (and then Gallway to visit my girlfriend at the time who was living there)

What I found strange was that you could rarely find guinness and bass in the same pub, in either Ireland or the UK. So, I could never get a good black and tan.

Did you try any snakebites? (Half Hard Cider, Half Beer) Not my favorite, but it was alright when they made it with Newcastle (newkie browns).

rab - seriously, I'd already forgotten about the marriage joke (which gave me a few chuckles) so no problem at all.

Yeah, the little kid who meows like a a cat creeps me out big time. But that kind of thing is becoming a horror move cliche these days.

snakebites? nooo, never tried. I did try that stuff that's like lemonade and beer, called shandy or something like that... that was weird

rabb, I was there about two years ago, for a month. I just wandered around there and Ireland by myself, visiting some family, doing some random volunteer work, and staying in hostels with some really cool Canadians and a couple of crazy people. It was a good time

This game is not looking good for the sox. Decent return back for big schill, but these west coast trips don't seem to be killing the sox.

By the way, the Beastie Boys played a few shows in Boston over the weeknd (and one tonight I beleive). Couldn't get tickets.

Don't remember trying Shandy, but it's quite possible that I might have.
