I think the main reason why you're arguing that digital sales make up a significant portion of volume sales is so that you could push the idea that Black Clover sells better than it actually does.

If that's true, then don't you think that they would release a sales or print total including digital? They did it with Robo, so then why not Black Clover? Maybe it's not really as significant of a percentage that you want it to be.

JUMP doesnt need to release sales numbers, who do sell numbers benefit?

I am financially invested in BLack Clover and am directly contributing to its success, thus, I am a proponent of seeing it succeed. Tabata and BLack Clover have rock my world and been an inspiration in the dark times, helping me to pull through, and reach my best even when I, like Asta, lacked that which everyone had. It was instrumental in my formative years just the same as Naruto has been. That said, BLack Clover is selling more than the number people tout as gospel from Oricon among others. With digital sells being in the 30-60+% range of series sells (using that RxL data among other numbers), people are grossly underestimated BLack Clover sales, among other series.

According to Digital bookstore ebook Japan, One Piece was 14th and Hunter x Hunter was 4th in the first half of 2018.

I have a PhD in bullshit detection and my collected data strongly suggests and highly implies that you're words are full of shit.

What data do you have? As you yourself said, the digital marketing in 2017 was barely 1 percent of the total manga market. Even if you want to use Robo's ~30% estimate, it doesn't hold up because Clover started 2 years before, which possibly means that it's digital presence is much smaller than Robo's.

So tell me, where do you get this confidence from? I'll accept personal bias as an answer.

One piece 89 is still in the Weekly rankings at the jump books store and it's the only june release there. (bleach and kingdom on there are bundles)

example above is very inclusive so it is not that helpful but I figure that would be the main place where people would buy Jump titles(the least hassle especially if you are trying to buy from outside of Japan)

Amazon comes to mind next when talking digital but that market is very volatile(pre-order, current trend) so unless you keep up with it constantly (the gaming community does it almost daily) it would not make much sense.

and a personal preference(for English books) is bookwalker, which in their Japanese bookstore have charts for daily, weekly, and monthly. those seem front-loaded and prefers recent releases but at least (in their Japanese site at least) cover most of the publishers. it's something. Sorting by publishers are also more convenient here.

One more thing, while it hard to see how a series is doing as whole(different release dates and all that + no actual numbers ) , it is kinda easy to see how they are doing in relative to one another especially if they have the same/close release dates

Black Clover could very well be selling 100k/vol in digital copies but until we get a concrete number for total sales (including digital) it would be illogical to assume that digital makes up 30%-60% of the total.

Mmmhhh, Yuuna is finally out of bottom 5, while Momiji is dead last and Invade You is rising up, was expecting for the opposite to happen. Good to see Noah not dead last, but seems its way to late for it to be saved

Wonder what exactly will be Gintama’s big announcement, my best bet is that they will announce a final countdown for the remaining chapters ala Naruto and Bleach

If this is true its a pretty meh staff. The only good thing the director was behind was Sound of the Sky which was very good but since then he's done some pretty subpar stuff like The Perfect Insider and Kimi to Boku. In terms of Jump properties he directed I's and Tegamibachi.
