We have to wait for the first weekly chart in a few days but Black Clover will be likely on the 5th place. The 12th rank is because the volumes were released on a Saturday so they included all the sales of the first day into the ranking of the last week but that’s not really the first week of sale of the new volume period

It'll most likely be around 12th place. The volumes were released on Friday so its 3 days of sales for the first week but in the case of Jump series, that's when over half the volume's total sales come from. Black Clover will most likely either stay at 12th place or drop lower in coming weeks. If you mean as a series total then it is possible it'll be higher up but looking just as POS daily charts, only 4-5 past volumes, that too the latest ones, rank in around 200-400th place. Even if you add all that up I don't expect it to be more than 50k at the utmost maximum but it seems like 20k is the most probably number.

But HQ 2th and Neverland 5th ? Nope ( With this competition definitely not).

Shoseki sometimes wrong.

Have you've gone coincieted to the point where you truly believe BC should be selling more than One Punch Man, Black Butler, Kawai Complex and the SLAM DUNK New edition volumes?

Shoseki has been off from time to time but the positions aren't too far off from the Oricon ones. Haikyuu 2nd and Neverland 5th makes total sense when you consider OPM also released and Wotakoi and Black Butler are also on the charts and in their beginning weeks. Wotakoi is a big seller and the last time Haikyuu had a 3 day first week it did this:
│266984 (3)│478477│549823│582781│609222┃*,694,489 (108)┃2018/02|ハイキュー!! 30

Wotakoi has a 6 day first week this time and this is what it did the last time it had a 3 day first week:

Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku 5 193,429 193,429

This was before the anime and this was also just under Heroaca vol 17, which was also before the anime but you can see. Neverland hasn't had a 3 day first week in a while but the closest is :
│164072 (4)│254251│293407│317459│335240┃*,442,549 (137)┃2018/01|約束のネバーランド 7

This is after its Konomanga boost:
│213667 (5)│301291│337517│360571│381428┃*,399,201 (*47)┃2018/04|約束のネバーランド 8

You can see how the numbers aren't too far off between Neverland's 5 day first week and Wotakoi's 3 day first week. POS messes up the dates from time to time but the positions are almost never too off. They'll be different because of the difference in amount of stores the data is collected from the its big enough to be correct.

Looks like the movie made the older volumes of Boku no Hero show up in the TOP 100.

The next volume of Boku no Hero will probably sell more than Haikyuu.

Question is will MHA ever reach peak Haikyuu sales? At this point, Haikyuu's volume 19 had sold over 1 million copies.

If the movie boost doesn't do anything all we can do is hope for them to release digital sales numbers because its pretty much gone through two reprints now.

Haikyuu has never sold a million in a month or ever on the Top 50 Oricon chart. It got the million figure on the yearly charts and that was after a full 11 months of sales. The only series that sell a million on Oricon right now are OP, AoT, and HxH. Whether Heroaca will reach peak Haikyuu is up in the air though as that's around 800k.

would be a tall order for heroaca to get to that point even TPN. The manga market has just changed.

I was obviously talking about it in yearly figures. MHA is usually out of the top 50 before it even sells 600k.

Hopefully digital sales numbers become a thing and starts getting recorded. Doesn't matter if its 1% or 40%. Some sort of record would be so helpful right now.

People think I'm against digital sales but I've got nothing against any series if it does well. Manga artists work their butt off and any success should be appreciated. What I am against is wrongly portrayed facts because it easily spreads and that's how youtubers get famous by selling wrong facts.

If series like MHA, TPN are gonna be million plus sellers when you include digital sales, then that's fucking great. As much as I couldn't get into BC, if it sells 500k with digital sales, that's impressive. But unless we have actual numbers, facts and figures for each volume of each series from good sources, digital sales cannot be included into the sales discussion.
For now, we can say that MHA will overtake current HQ really soon. Whether or not it will overtake physical print peak of HQ is to be seen. But the fact that all the volumes are back in top 100 is a fantastic sign.
