I wonder if hon does something similar but to a much lesser scale. Hoaquin devours souls by the billions and got to be a high ranker. Maybe they literally become part of hons sword. And that is the reason hon has the only s+ weapon in the tower. But hon himself does not get a direct boost for it. Gotta wonder if a shinsoo quality could be souls related... So far all souls manipulation techniques are spell related.

Ok so I just read the chapter and I would like to take a moment to talk about the art. So much details in the drawing of the characters like that high ranker female androïde at the end. And have you noticed the background ? The blue sky and the clouds look so real, like actual pictures.

About the content, White is back in business, that is good. Yuri is playing mind games, that's fun. The fight finely begins between rankers and also regulars.
These sponsored regulars are just so so to be so easily handled by Sachi. And we get to see clearly the gap between rankers and high rankers.
Hwa Ryun is wrecking the train lol. What a naughty girl. I wonder if the workshop will fix it later or if there will never be a hell train in the tower again.
Is the plan going down or is it the plan ? We will know next chapter when they get in the station.

Damn, this ending really got me excited.
I don't really care much about the fights going on, I just wanna know if Baam's going all out against the Zahard empire and shock everyone or not. Let's not forget that even Baam's team does not know about his new powers, except for Rak, who's seen a bit (assuming he didn't show them during the mini time skip, which I highly doubt), and he even got a new power up we don't know about...
Really looking forward to next weeks chapter.

Hopefuly we get to see baam in action next chapter,although i wonder if it will be a good idea his power level at the moment is match only by a dozen other people if he fight everyone might suspect he is an irregular and that will put yuri in trouble but since she mentioned she will koon maybe this arc she will cut her tie with zahard and seek refuge under urek setting up the princess arc.as for hon i wonder what's the point of manipulating hoaqin,does he wish for his descendants to defy him even though he know it's futile or does he have a hand in hoaqin and the demon encounter?maybe if he consume white he can have the ability to use the great arie sword where all hon's descendants end up to.i can't wait to see how rachel will find her find her way out while hwaryun spent months preparing for her escape.the soul laddle must have a role later on in the story i wonder if hoaqin is a part of it.

I am looking forward to Rachel's team handling this crisis considering how she recently stabbed everyone in the back and no one has ever put their life on the line for her.(except Baam is upset right now and already has a lot on his plate). That string ray will be a major variable.. I hope it chooses Baam in dire need.

The way SIU is protecting Rachel is crazy I bet she will teleport with yura.
The only thing I want to see now is Baam ignite the thorn like on the HF.

I have been thinking about the Arie sword, so maybe Hon gives a part of his soul to his children like Yamcha form bleach(spelling may be wrong) so when they die they boost his power that's why he said the arie clan form the sword.

D rank regular "Ever curious Levi" looks like long lost brother of Sachi. I can't believe there are so many regulars involved in this arc most of them will be fed to the new power display of our teams.

On other note, if Yuri ends up getting herself captured helping them escape..Urek most likely will save her from any kinda execution. This all feels like a big mess but it is not really that serious crisis. My only concern so far is Khun getting swept away in this battlefield.

That's the thing: Bam can swallow them, White can use them as fuel. That's a freudian distinction right there: the act of eating is related to Eros/Pulse of life, its a connection thing as what you eat becomes part of you. You never eat what you hate, only what you like. The act of killing on the other hand is a separation, a cut, related to Thanatos/Pulse of death (I'm not making these up, Google them and you'll see). Thanatos is destruction and separation.

I think White and Hon's relationship to souls is Thanatos-like. They use them as fuel for their power, and the more you can wield, the stronger the blows you can deliver. White's merging with his Bros is similar to Bam's, but limited and only a way to enable him handling a huge amount of Souls at once. They (the Souls) don't become part of his looks or Personality, they Just become amorphous power.

Bam doesn't get the swallowed people to participate as trully a part of himself, but they remain intact in his belly. Whenever they show up, we see it's their power, different colors such as Bam's eyes had when he used the sword of Souls.

So my point is: Bam (Viole) has a type of relationship to souls as well, but White (Hon) have too. Jahad is great on his own and doesn't join with anyone, but Arie and Viole families might be different in this sense.

I am not sure bam can just straight up devour people. That has never happened before and it wouldn't be something bam would want. He can devour souls of course but I am not sure that is the same thing as being able to devour entire people. I guess if he learns soul manipulation techniques he could do more.

Baam was repulsed, actually incensed, by this. Recall the Dollar game. He used the power of the souls and never asked for them and feel protective of them but he never asked for them. I don't ever see Baam devouring anyone. When they talk about him devouring, I think that it is power, in general, they are referring to.
