I've actually heard of a few restaurants/food trucks with Dutch specialties having some kind of success in the States.

Mostly the generic stuff like Appelflappen, Stroopwafels, Oliebollen, Frituursnacks, Erwtensoep of Pannenkoeken/Poffertjes.

Kapsalons are partially fried fast-food, so that's definitely going to score well in America.

Yeah, like mentioned before it's usually fried fries, topped with some döner (or shawarma) covered in molten cheese and usually some salad on top.

Nah, this is a fancy one.

The place I mentioned earlier (that closed), did kapsalons like this too, you could choose whatever meat you wanted, but they also added in champignons and paprika (sometimes a bit of tomato), their own blend of garlic sauce and herbs. It was fucking delicous. Best kapsalons I've ever had.
