Where do you buy your things?

There's a Polish supermarket a few streets away, we go there on occasions. But mostly we get all the groceries delivered at home, mostly by PLUS, sometimes by Albert Heijn.

This is South America '-' (or just America, as Greg said). People are automatically dicks here.
Hardy mocked things here but once he wanted me to sell my old TV that had a defect: after a while, the image would go red. He said that since it was only after a while, buyers wouldn't notice until it was too late. I said no and had to explain him why '-' Sometimes being dick by default is just so rooted in us we don't notice lol.

That stray cart thing seems so bizarre. Isn’t there a dedicated spot to park the carts? I’ve hardly ever seen anyone just leave their cart wherever here...

wtf, carts get dumped everywhere, there are very few people in their right mind who actually bring those back.

Not always. But honestly that doesn't matter. The one that was laying around a car spot yday was just a few meters away from the dedicated spot for the carts.
I'm glad to see that's uncommon in Europe but I also get shocked about people getting surprised with those things happening elsewhere o.o

Why not lol? XD If a dick left a cart in the wrong place and you'll have to remove it anyway so you can park, might as well leave it in the proper place, or put it in a spot where it won't be blocking any car.

I haven't been to a proper grocery store in at least 5 years now, the Polish one I visit every other month or so is too small to even have carts. But back when I went to grocery stores I always brought them back to their stall or inside too.

But at the big stores there are plenty of people who just shove the carts to the side when they're done, or take the carts with them to home and dump them afterwards.

I saw a cart earlier today in the bushes when I went for a walk with Conan and Juul, pretty normal occurence in this country, afaik.

LOL even in the airport, we often have to buy new carts cause people take the luggage ones everywhere xD We wanted to use the "put a coin here to take the cart and get it back once you return it" system but the agency the regulates us won't permit it.
We've recieved reports of luggage carts being dropped kms away in the middle of the highroad that connects the airport and the city, where people drive at 80km/h at least... might be fun to find a cart on your way there.

That's what I think as well. People are less "dicky" when convetions make them less prone to it. A girl from Brasilia wanted to kill me when she started saying people here are more polite behind wheels and I said they just follow some conventions that others don't, but they still couldn't care less about many things (people here almost always stop for pedestrians to cross roads and rarely honk; on the other hand, they park anywhere, block roads and cut in front of others all the time).

A friend of mine just brought some food over, made his own Schwarzwälder schinken, and goddamn, that was one of the most delicious things ever.

I told him to make it for me every damn week, I'd even pay him more than I do when I get it store-bought or fresh at the market. But he laughed and said no.
