Hiro already said that romance will be the main focus.Also hints from the first chapter we can see hints of Shiki and Rebecca in future.Also i doubt from the looks of it we will get something like nalu vs Bali here.

Ok cool i hope that the ships that the fans want to see so much will eventually become a reality in Edens Zero and that the series will focus way more on romance than Fairy Tail did.
But maybe the reason why Natsu and Lucy never became an official couple at the end of Fairy Tail was because they wanted to save it for the sequel manga similar to how the end of Naruto skipped over a bunch of stuff because it wanted to save it for Boruto.

Well she does not seem to be much of a fighter so far so maybe she will be able to transform into a bigger battle mode later in the story.
Unless shes not supposed to be a fighting character and is more supposed to help with other stuff like Bulma in Dragon Ball for example.

I'd like a love triangle between Rebecca x Shiki x Labilia, I think Labilia could show a lot of romantic interest in Shiki, although there is also Elsie who has shown enough interest in him.

Shiki x Rebecca seems that it can be a good thing, but so far Mashima hasn't hinted any romance, hope if it happens it'll be in future chapters and not now.

It's too early to judge but Shiki x Rebecca is equivalent to Natsu x Lucy or Elie x Haru. This will never change most likely.

Romance should be developed early in the series and should be done with in mid manga or it will turn to be cancerious like FT with tonnes of none sense crack ships like the new one with Rebecca and wiz

Not necessary it should be done at the earliest.Touka and Kaneki's relationship was developed throughout the Tokyo Ghoul series,not in the early chapters but gradually and now it is universally praised.Same can be done with Shiki and Rebecca.

Tokyo Ghoul has a different writer, Mashima just ship bait to gather as much fans as possible like giving moments to crack ships which results in creating false picture to the fans. I find that cancerous

Shipping can always turn cancerous. It doesn't matter what fandom you are apart of. Even though I was never in the TG fandom, I have even seen some shipping rage that's come across my feeds on various sites. And small series like Hataraku Maou Sama had huge shipping fights. That's not exclusive.

However I will say that Shiki x Rebecca is already teasing the shippers and joking. Which I don't like. Because it's too fast for me.
