I know this manga is seemingly on the path to getting animated but isn't it still too early to say. The first volume hasn't even dropped so we can see how it sells. Its not guaranteed that this'll be a 100k seller out of the gate seeing as how FT's sales dropped quite a bit towards the end.

I believe that if it can exceed that number of sales, it would even put the limit between 150 k - 200k, although FT did not end with good sales, its volumes were between 330k - 360k, so it was more or less the numbers that FT had after the volume 50.

We also have to pay attention to world sales, especially in France (the largest foreign market in Mashima) and the USA (Hiro's most complicated market).

But being a popular mangaka in the magazine, I feel I can have those numbers and be increasing little by little, I feel that Shounen Magazine is going to put several cards in play for this series and Orient of Shinobu Ohtaka to replace Nanatsu no Taizai as the best seller.

Let's assume it receives an anime.I am asking to speculate because many low selling series also gets an anime.Which studio is better fit to do?

jummm, I think this series is for the moment, one of its main attractions are its landscapes, for the moment I would like Mappa (Inuyashiki), although what I would like most is for this series to be long runner

Cool EZ gets its own section, lame MS have dropped the series (and been such babies about it). Think it’s off to an interesting start at least, the character similarities don’t bother me as much as I thought they might so far. The ‘Erza’ character kinda makes me think of knightwalker, it’s almost like seeing Erza playing a part wothout freaking out about it xD.

It’s interesting he’s jumped straight in with a time (travel?) based story thread, I think that was one of his weaker suits in FT and it is difficult to pull off well full stop. It seems he’s going straight for a relatively involved core storyline right off the bat here rather than dancing around it like he did with FT.

CLAMP is notorious for weaving storylines with other series and having the same character but a different persona in multiple series; however Mashima does it and he's unoriginal

From what I could tell, a good chunk of the interview is spent on the challenge of writing a "space fantasy" series, something that you just don't see done very often in shonen manga these days. There's some other stuff that could be interesting, but to reduce the risk of giving out inaccurate interpretations that could inevitably spiral out of control, I will just wait for a more accurate, non-Google Translate version of the interview.

The only other thing I can say for absolute certainty is that his last statement debunks the "Mashimaverse" theory. He also says that if he were to ever bring the characters of past series into a connected universe, it would be done as an afterthought, not as a result of early planning or foreshadowing.

Part of me is relieved there haven't been any spoiler pics for the next chapter. But since their release has practically become the norm, it's still concerning when the lack of spoilers causes people to start doubting whether the next chapter is coming at all.

I don’t think they have been posted yet. I would love to read the comments Mashima added like what most do inside volumes. Is there a date for the English version?
