Theres been no hype or fanfare regarding Kimetsu. Putting it in the season after Nevelard will cannabolize its potential, and secondly its content just doesnt seem that interesting to many of todays readers and viewers. Even here you rarely see anyone mention kimetsu, unlike heroaca or BLack Clover, etc.

You're mainly the only one who brings up BC lol, and usually it's to bait others into responding. Hence the "fanfare".

Even outside of this forum its an unfair comparison since their circumstances are completely different.

these are all so close

Those are two interesting battles, Jujutsu should be triumphant.

Food Wars, has the resident chartmaker showed Food Wars performance over the past few volumes.

At least in oricons estimates, World Trigger (assuming the fandom has remained strong, I see you artists and cosplayers whove filled my timeline during the hiatus with great BL arts), has full chance of overtaking Food Wars. Hope the folks really show up.

The fandom seemed to keep strong during the hiatus, and it did trended on twitter when it was announced it will returned, so it have the potential to match it past sales, we'll see in literally a month

Spoiler: I don't want to say this(out loud)

but if WT did better than SnS/ match it sales before the hiatus,
then that also means that it will be doing better than a certain other series is doing currently

technically close enough (for now) that it can still go either way since the last 2 volumes of yuuna was affected by the limited edition, but yeah yuuna is definitely losing steam while WNL is improving, just adding that because it seemed appropriate

Act-Age has really defied the odds and seems to be growing quite nicely. Jujutsu is still clearly the victor of the 2018 new serializations, but Act-Age sticking around and showing signs of growth (rather than being trapped in the 30k club) is definitely a victory for WSJ. Let's hope that the current volume and backlog sales keep growing.

I'm bummed about Alice, but am sadly not surprised. I wish it would've premiered in Weekly Shonen Sunday instead. It could've taken over the gap that KOI left and easily lasted a year there. Seiji Tanaka's first volume really tanked badly, and quite frankly, the story seems to have gotten pretty off the rails. It fell victim to trying to take itself way too seriously instead of taking a more comedic approach.

David-kun's 2 chapters this week were absolutely wild, especially the second one. I can thoroughly say that I was caught completely off-guard by that entire chapter.

Alice just introduced a new character in its chapter last week, and it wasn't like a "final boss/rival" character, so they'd really have to wrap things up quick if it was going to end in Issue 51
