If Uruka could somehow pull off a surprise victory, I'd be ecstatic. At this point, I'd say Fumino is the obvious frontrunner by a longshot. I'm interested to see if the author will take things in a different direction or not in the end

I don't know about that one. Uruka has been shooting herself in the foot every chance she gets, so her winning would be the biggest comeback of the decade.

Really surprised by how much better it looks the designs look now for the anime. They nailed the expressions. Uruka also got much better compared to the first one.

Uruka sure may have been the only who started liking already Moeyuki and was the only one who was on the race, but how she has denied liking him to his face not once but twice sure has make her ship deader than the Titanic

Dr. Stone should be on Fall. If Jump really want it to became BIG they should give it the time slot of MHA.

Let's talk about more interesting thing

Here the cover distribution between 2017 and 2018
New Series: 8
One Piece : 7
Group Cover: 5
Black Clover: 4
TPN: 3
Bokuben: 3
Kimetsu: 2

Gintama: 2
Robot: 2
Dr Stone: 2
MHA: 2
Boruto: 2
Soma: 2
HYPEkyu: 1
PSY: 2
Hinomaru: 1
Yuuna: 1
New Series: 6/7 share
One Piece: 6
Group Cover: 5
TPN: 5
HYPEKyu: 4
Black Clover: 3
MHA: 3
Dr Stone: 3
Gintama: 2
Bokuben: 2
JuJu Kaisen: 2
Hinomaru ZUmou: 1
Soma: 1
Yuuna: 1
Kimetsu: 1
Act Age: 1
Also include issue 51 and the next one
Analysis between 2017 to 2018
Hinomaru Zumou, Yuuna, and Soma guarantee at least one cover a year. One Piece + Group Covers are between 11 to 12 covers, standard stuff. At this point i got lazy so i just get to the point:
  • TPN is the poster child for this year with 5 covers, only behind one piece (compare to 3 from 2017). They need to start pushing the upcoming anime series soon.
  • Kimetsu still gets no love, and they aren't pushing Jujukaisen enough. Act Age just got that fat campaign last week, but still nothing from Juju even though it has 350,000 copies in print in 2 volumes.
  • Juju kaisen volume 3 will drop on Friday December 14th. I think it will get another CP on Issue 1 (Dec 3rd) or Issue 2 (Dec 14th). A cover would be even better but usually the first issue goes to one piece (2017,2016) or new series (2015,2014), or a group cover. Its last cover was on Aug (Issue #43). Either Act Age and/or JuJu might be in Manga Taisho or some awards starting next year.

Also, Dr.Stone. Is the most milked title by Shueisha together with TPN.

About Kenshin in Jump Force, it shatters my time theory. So JoJo should be next unless surprises.

About new titles, I agree that we are getting the next big spokon soon. Maybe not in next new titles release, but in any 2019 moment. I'm confident Hot by Amano is going to be serialized, now that Eldlive has ended. I also think Shimabukuro is going to come soon. I'd say 2019 will get some old authors back.

The first girl always win.
But it's also always the last girl that falls for MC that wins, which in this case is the second girl. So it looks like Tsutsui intends that one of those tropes doesn't happen and it looks way more likely that second girl wins right now.

Nice analysis. Are you counting Act-age and Jujutsu on new series or separately?

Yonkou was his own news. The "moetron" only takes the news/images on Weibo/Baidu without sourcing them.
Exactly, THANK YOU !
Almost all "leakers" (if you wanna call them that) nowadays just take whatever info from these sites or any different forums and post them as it is.
Like I hope they understand that the actual leakers undergo high risks in doing what they're doing specially now more than ever. So the least they can do is actually source them, and if they don't want to post direct links (which you should, it doesn't make sense why you wouldn't) then at the bare minimum they should post something along the lines of "source: Baidu(or whatever site)" at the end of their post.
