Rhetorical question although you don't really need to watch post-Cell saga DBZ to know they fused. But Vegeta stayed while Goku went off training Uub and even sacrificed himself to save Trunks and Gotenks.Well, I did say they fuse together so there is your answer.Since he wasn't nominated, let's discuss the ones that have been.

Vegeta had a nice change, he underwent the greatest development of the series, but as husbando... Gohan is better imo.
Its not like DB is the best series to take husbandos from tho, most of the characters are just fighting freaks or ugly asf aliens

Never said the opposite, Vegeta is one of the best character of his series, but an angry prideful man thats training all day... theres better out there tbh.
Besides its not very difficult to be a better father than Goku
Its like Vici said, DB characters would be the Yamchas of this war, they lack "husbandoness"
