Escanor's body seems like its on the threshold of giving out under the sun blessing and even with Mael's supposed ''death'', Ludoshel demanded for him to return the blessing and give it up. Now that Mael is about to join the fight against TOD, I'm anticipating Mael + Ludoshel to act even more aggressive and demand for Escanor to give it up and hand it back to Mael.

Question: Will Escanor lose the sun blessing to Mael?

Escanor was already coughing blood 40 chapters ago or so after using The One in his fight against Mel. Now that he used The One again against Zeldris, I think his body is approaching its limits. Sooner or later he won't be able to take the Sun blessing for more time, the Grace is clearly killing him. Not to mention that we've already seen pretty much everything from Escanor with the Sun blessing and on the other hand we haven't seen anything from Mael with it. It would be nice also to see what kind of power had the strongest of the four AA back then, a Ludo+Mael combo against the Sinner would be even more nice to see in my opinion.

The chances are pretty high if you ask me. The question is: what will happen to Escanor after losing the blessing? Will he cease to be relevant? Well, I don't necessarily think so as humans have shown to have innate magic. So my theory here is that even in the hypothetical case of him losing Sun he would still be relevant thanks to his innate magic. I don't think that would be bad, in fact I think it would be a good idea as it would help to make the Human Clan and its powers more relevant. Not only that but Escanor would end up being strong on his own and not relying on powers from other clans, which further reinforces my point of the Human Clan being more relevant.

I firmly believe that Escanor will still possess a form of the ''sun blessings'' power due to the many years of usage with it, to the limit of what his body will allow. Given that it seems only ''The One'' mode seems to be dangerous for Escanor, I wouldn't be surprised if his innate magic power became sun which allowed him to access every power besides 12:00 PM.

I frankly doubt it. If it was the Grace that left Mael and chose Escanor of its own will, then why didn't it return to its former wielder already?

Not to mention that Mael might actually refuse to regain it, with his guilt and all.

If Escanor were to lose Sunshine permanently, I'm almost certain that his innate magic will be something utterly similar to it.

I doubt it, Sun isnt just Escanor's power, its literally half of his character, the half everyone likes too. I doubt Nakaba will decide to kill off buff Escanor like that. i also doubt Nakaba is going to weaken a Sin, rather than powering them up.

The sins do not need more powering ups they already destroyed the small drops of tension there was.

Escanor's death before the end of the series is all but inevitable given Rueduciel's statement regarding Sun corroding his body and the scene of Escanor coughing up blood and somberly looking into his palm as if he's already long since accepted his fate. With that in mind I think it's fairly likely that he will die and Sun will transfer back to Mael. Though, I highly doubt it happens against The Sinner.

Good question but answer is pretty obvious he will lose the grace and goes back to the rightful owner Mael. Its like this situation

Mael: Yo ludoshit wazzup brother.
Ludo: Shit as always bro. Glad youre still alive
Mael: Yo shitty bro do you have the slightest idea wheres my sunshine given by Elizabeth "Hoe's" mother?
Ludo: Oh Escanor has it. Yo Esca give it back to my awsome brother. Well if you dont you have to deal us both. Wanna die!?!
Esca: How I wish I have the option to say no because ever since I had it Ive been the best beating the hell out the demon king's sons. Losing it would mean Im the shittiest in NNT
Mael: Thanks shitty bro and shittier guy Esca.

So thats it Mael gets the sunshine plain and simple.

Yes they do, powering up all the Sins to 200k+ would be a good move on Nakaba's part and i think it will happen. The story is better when the Sins are the absolute strongest force in the world, the best of the best, like back in the first arc. Only the gods should be capable of beating the Sins together, and even then the Sins should still win in the end. I'd much prefer it if the gods were beaten simply by the Sins working together, outsmarting and overpowering them, Hendrikson style, rather than some random convoluted plot point that they somehow exploit to beat the gods, unless Nakaba has been setting up a really good plot point for a while without us realizing.

"in order to defeat the sinner"

Well, King has the situation covered with the sinner, worst case scenario he teams up with Ban and they fodderize him (Ban and king are like FGT Ichigo to a butterfly aizen right now)

But you could argue a grace switch to deal with Meliodas, but then Mael would need way more than sunshine alone

Your comment does not make any sense at first you say that powering up the sins even more it's a great move at the same time the tension and the real struggling is from 0 to 0,5% and that's because the protagonists are so freaking broken and they were always holding back 99% of their powers and the fights they had were trash lvl of fights.

Meliodas already trashed the dk by destroying his entire arm casually with his new ability after goofying around and it was just the emotions they were not even the real meliodas which makes things even worst.

I am no sure why you want only the gods to be stronger from the sins and no one else but it's not even that.

No one from the protagonists had a good fight yet. You said you want to see the sins using tactics to beat their enemies but at first you say that you want them to be massively powered up those 2 things doesn't stuck.

You cannot have unimaginably broken protagonists fighting, just overpowered yet inferior enemies where they use tactics to beat them simply because the protagonists are so strong that they do not even need tactics to beat them.
There is no need for using tactics.
Tactics and teamwork are been used when you fight someone that you cannot defeat alone by any possible mean.
This is not on effect when the protagonists could possibly solo their enemies or they have the power to solo their enemies but for some reason they never use their full potential.
Like imagine you play in a mmo and you pvp someone using your lvl 1 skills but you can cast up to lvl100 skills how are you not fucking hold back ?

That's why all the fights in nnt so far are super awful because the mcs always hold back.

You want an example? 2 chapters ago merlin make a statemen,t that they lost all chance of victory.

She was supposed to be surprised and maybeworried but when she had to do her thing in this chapter what did she just do? She just did a simple extermination ray... when she could had used infinity to amplify her magic and do more damage to the sinner but quess what? She never did!!!!!!!!!!!! apparently, she conveniently forgot she can do that this shows with proofs 100% that she is holding back power she doesn't even go full out the same variety applies to everyone of the 7 sins.

But how then she claims that she cannot beat someone? Contradiction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! people you cannot claim that i cannot do a shit and then you do your lvl 1 skills when you can do skills 100 lvl.

Which bring us to the real conclusion that you have no clue about what you want plus you are ignorant you do not even know the basic stuff.

I m gonna be raw honest i always thought that they would had to team up at least 3 -4 people of chandler and cusack individually but merlin could fodderize both of them.

Personally i had high hopes for the fights but i am super disappointed really super disappointed because the fights are not even mediocre lvl they are just super bad for my tastes.

It makes perfect sense, your hate of the manga simply prevents you from understanding it.
Nah, Nakaba can keep powering up the Sins, tension is fine as is.
No Sin has had a good fight according to you, i've enjoyed most of their fights.
The DK hasnt been trashed, demons have been losing arms since back in Hendrickson's day. Besides, he hasnt even broken out of the goddess seal yet.
You can be incredibly powerful and use strategy, you just have to be fighting someone powerful too. The Sinner fits the bill, plus 5C Mel later.
I said the Sins as a force should be the greatest in the manga, not that each individual Sin has to be way more powerful than each individual villain.
So what if Merlin said she has no chance at victory? Did you expect her to just give up after that and let herself get killed? Get real.
Merlin had to fire Exterminate Ray first and then power it by infinity against Chandler, the Sinner overwhelmed her immediately this time, she had no chance to use her "lvl 100 spell", no contradiction.

Haha, i have no clue what i want? I'm not the one who gets pissed off after literally every chapter i read. Its clear that of the two of us, i'm the only one who actually knows what he wants.

What about ban his character trait was immortality but he no longer has it

Seeing a rhitta charged escanor trading blows with the sinner if mael gets it he will stomp him with ease

Ban's immortality doesnt have an entire persona reliant on it. Buff Escanor is almost another character, and its one of Nakaba's most popular characters. The chances of him killing that character off is near zero imo.

The way I see it from Mael's reaction in the recent chapter, he might take it temporarily from Escanor but later on give it back to him.

I think escanor is definitely losing the sun grace and giving it back to mael. He got kinda lucky a few chapters back when chandler ended the one earlier than otherwise, odds are it spared him a fair bit of damage, but he is definitely accumulating damage. Its already nearly a miracle that escanor is able to use the grace so much, we have seen the consequences of humans abusing them.

That said, I do think escanor will show some unique power AFTER he loses the sun grace. We know magic in humans is forged via their experiences and his lifetime is one of pain and being exposed to the sun grace. And we know the sun grace itself might leave traces behind. Who knows, losing the sun grace and awakening his own magic might even prove to be a powerup for him. If not at least a more stable power. It's a shame that ban gave up his immortality, if he had waited a bit his power could be used to heal a lot of people during the war, maybe even escanor's maimed body.

Highly doubt it. And I expect nakaba to somehow get past the whole “getting damaged by sunshine” while still allowing escanor to keep it.

Also let’s be honest, nakaba won’t do a fan favorite character dirty like that.

I mean, people love Escanor for both his personality + power but if these elements were given to Mael when he had ''sun'' near noon then I imagine some people would find it acceptable.
