anyway....this weeks oneshot Maken Kajishi Handago was ok, generic battle shonen with generic power up but I liked the art, it reminded me of Memesis

its name is Chikyuu Boueigun Nirasawa Chuutonchi, I translated it to Earth Defense Force because I'm lazy

it's a super deformed bodies gag manga, so having a horrible artstyle is the point
although I agree it was awful both the art and the jokes

I saw the black haired girl has a chain on her arm, another resemblance to Rosario+Vampire (Holy Lock that Tsukune had in the 2nd part of the manga), besides the possiblity of the concept of 2 girls who share the body through a lock (hence Ties Her Hair in the title) but look different and have different personalities. All speculation of course. Hoping for a romance, we didnt get one in WSJ since....Cross Account I believe?
