and I'm more interested on CSM numbers for the following week, will it do a MHA/Yuuna? or will it do a Jujutsu (and to a lesser extent, Act-Age)?
side note: I published the before it before the numbers were out, so other than david (which was obvious) I don't actually know what to expect (mostly) from those numbers
That's a good start for Chainsaw Man. 25k is solid for a new series. For now it's definitely safer than the other recent serializations. Hopefully there aren't any stock issues next time, I'm also quite curious about its future growth patterns. Overall I'm feeling pretty optimistic about this.
Edit: Oh yeah that Jujutsu Kaisen growth is amazing!
Well, since each new volume sells a bit less than the one before, you could say that every new One Piece volume will be the "worst OP selling volume" kkkkk
Just to add, the new vol 92 sold "1,386,360" in 7/8 days while vol 91 sold "1,514,459" in 6.
Does anyone have the previous sales for the past volumes for Jigokuraku? For a series that's not in the main magazine to sell that much is amazing hopefully, it will continue to grow.
I think it speaks a lot about Shonen Jump+ viewership reach that not even a mangaka of Akame ga Kill! managed to pull more than a 12k 7 day sales for Mato Seihei no Slave (which in itself is a very decent number that separates it from majority of SJ+). Hopefully it grows.
Dr. Stone doesn't sell because its covers don't appeal to a shonen audience. Too much detail, linework and variation of coloring.
I haven't bought a volume because it just looks unaesthetic next to my other volumes. If it were a different artist or the covers or more stylized like Chainsawman I'm sure the sales would've been much higher.
Boichi is a great artist btw, but I definitely think his art style is impacting the sales.

Really? I thought his art is fine, I mean, Chrome is really cute in the many ways he draws him.
I guess his drawings of femchars is questionable, but then again, i guess it is what people interested in girls like having their femchars look like, so Im in the minority there.
