why are they putting off adapting the next arc for the sake of making an enemy of the week episodes? is this gonna be a long runner or something?

this is harming the source material since this the arc were Inyou's rival gets introduced, the fact the rival isn't in the OP visuals and I don't think they casted a VA for him yet is making me worried

Spy x Family is now 12th. I'm curious where it will stop. Seems to be getting ~60-70K Views per chapter so if that continues I could see it hitting 5th and stopping there (Jigokuraku in 5th has 289, 577 and Naruto in 4th has 410, 976)

Looking at that Chainsaw Man got ~20k views while Spy got more than double at ~50k so if that continues I could see Spy easily passing it.

Don’t know lol, but according to that same picture, the 2nd place is Hell Jigoraku at 378k views (also the picture shows the date 4/22, so unknown if it is lifetime views/weekly/daily

And jigoraku sells like what <50k?
So it could potentially sells well, also i could see it being popular with kids demographic despite all the spy/violence stuff

The person who posted that said it's just for chapter 3 so I assume Jigokuraku is just the most recent chapter as well (which went up at the same time)

yeah the number is just for the latest chapter (currently at 499k)

it would say it is doing in the upper ranking in term of views(and comments)

Jigokuraku only had a picture this week, but it usually do ~the same as SPYxFAMILY is doing at the moment (I think it went to around 600k by the end of last week)

I can't exactly remember how. much, but i think spy chapter 1&2 each did somewhere 500k within a week

Not sure how app calculates views but yes it can sell well but I don't think it's going to sell higher than Jigokuraku right off the bat. Jigo is doing ~50k before it drops off the top 50 iirc and its considered a top seller. You can see that 50k in no where close to 378k so I take these views with a grain of salt.

I expect people to be disappointed with Spy's sales, not because it's bad but people are having too high expectations for a Jump+ title. Iirc World's End Harem sold even more than Jigo when it started but the sales have dropped since then. There's a chance that it can outdo Jigo with the first volume but I don't think its likely.
