Ah, so that's why they listed v21 & 22 for may and june release. Was hoping it still wasn't ending and they were just trying to catch up a bit, as currently there are chapters for 3 more volumes. Wanted it to go to like 30 vols and to get an anime, but getting anime now seems unlikely. Well 1 less series for me to buy then.

With Terra Formars being on long hiatus, I will no longer read anything from YJ (as the others I read also ended). Kinda sad how the magazine changed in the last years, starting series that are totally off my taste or desired genre, and there are practically no more cool action series (except maybe Kingdom, but I'm on a long pause from that).

Of wow, that is a big shock then. I mean, it has a concept that is easy to continue anytime, but still.

I assume some newer manga like Akechi, Satsujin Muzai or Hana Matsu Ibara will be axed for it.

Obviously Real will swap for Rikudou.

Was there any indication on how long it'd go on for after resuming? It's pretty wild that a series that supposedly ended in 2015 is resuming again. Is this supposed to be the same series or a sequel series (like it'd start at chapter 1 again)?

I seem to recall it never like *ended* just declared an “end of part one” sort of deal, but it’s been years so I might be wrong

I thought they usually left "Part 1 ended" series on their website, like they did for Zetman.

You might be right. I think what I’m thinking of is some statements from 2014 where Morita and Katsura both talked about their plans for the future. Katsura was on about Zetman part 1, part 2 stuff (which hey, might happen one day), and Morita was on about ending the amateur era of Beshari Gurashi, doing something more commercial (ha), and then doing a professional era? But looking it up all I can find is Kaizou and such talking about it, no solid source

For Beshari Gurashi, this will be the direct continuation (i.e. directly after the last chapter). However, there will only be a few pre-published chapters (one / two volumes in total).
