So, I've talked to a contact with the Japanese Jump community I have, and she told me that the reception for Samurai 8 is basically the same over there. Take that as you will.

Japan will not end now. The jump can be with just one gag manga, it was so in the time of saike kusuo, and also even selling less than david, Japan did not have a sales drop.
What are you talking about? Not only was Saiki K never the "only" gag manga in Jump to my knowledge, but Japan is selling horribly. There's literally no reason to keep it around when it's been proven to be a financial handicap.

I'm talking about the comedy manga on the jump.
and I do not remember another gag that debuted along with saike kusuo, sorry.
Also not the reason to keep hinomaru zumou, but the manga continues to this day. There are manga that remain in the magazine even not selling well, which does not hurt since most sell.

Well, no. After Saiki K premiered (a whole seven years ago), Jump has not had a single significant gag manga since...which is exactly my point. Since that series, Jump has been unable to get a single gag manga off the ground, all while the comedies they had on hand have dwindled until, with the exit of Gintama, they are left with nothing but cancellation fodder. That is the situation Jump is in right now.

Also, there is a difference between "selling lower than a Jump series really should" (which is the status of Hinomaru) and "literally selling basically nothing" (which is the for Japan).

Hn, those images...seems that main duo of Beast Children then will be on separate teams, which would actually be a fairly unique for Jump. Meanwhile, Futari no Taisei continues to be incredibly forgettable, while the protag of Tokyo Shinobi Squad looks like a knock-off of Denji.

I wanted to be more excited about kamio yui and the new jump manga.
but after so much boring complaint on the part of the fushmaster that the jump only launches dark manga and completely ignoring that she had a good variety and less excited.

Who exactly is "Fushmaster" and who is complaining about who?

is a user here of the site that was a time recovering the jump of the cause of the releases of chainsaw, Higuma, Neolation and saiyuki and kept saying that it did not have a manga of sport in the magazine.

Well, I don't know who that is still (user check gives me no results), but to that I say that it's simply the way the market has gone. Battle manga is way, way easier to sell nowadays than the old guard genres.

I think she was blushing too and the way it was drawn it looked like a fetish of some sort than a gag.
Have you seen any drunk people? Their faces are as red as tomatoes.
And honestly, only you talk about that scene in sexual sense. Maybe you are projecting your own fetish :derp.

The Shogi series image, and the ninja series image looks much more appealing after seeing them in color

The shogi one is the worst one, but is better waiting to see if is better in the chapter than the promotional art.

I myself am baffled as to why Jump is attempting another manga about Shogi so soon after Momiji no Kisetsu blew up in their face...

Probably because they want to replicate Mononofu's early success (not sales wise but reception wise).

I think the 3 series can be canceled and only 8 samurai survive. But if samurai 8 becomes monthly as they are saying, then it may be that one of the other 3 survives.

Between Kamio Yui , Sayuuki and the new three, it's going to be five series trying to establish themselves along with Samurai 8. At the very least some will cushion the others for a while.

I feel like if Samurai 8 was planned on being a monthly series from the get go we would have already gotten some sort of confirmation of that

I agree. It's especially odd, since Kishi himself isn't even doing all the work this go around. The load is split between two people (not counting assistants), so why go monthly?

Obviously, I could be wrong.

The real question is why would he go weekly if he has the option to go monthly. Working continuously on Naruto week to week for 15 years was probably enough for him. I don't know the details but Kishimoto might be doing the panelling and fairly detailed rough sketches for the story, that is a lot of effort on a weekly basis, but if it's monthly things would be more managable for him and the artist.

Also seems to be going the same route as every other Jump series. 52 Pages first chapter(72 pages for Samurai 8). Shorter 2nd and 3rd chapters, but still longer than the average chapter. Then transitions to the normal length of a chapter following that

Obviously I don’t know the circumstances, but I’d imagine he only came back weekly at all under the condition that he got an artist to do it with him.

I’m also imaging Shuiesha didn’t want him to go monthly. They could easily bank on writing “From the Creator of NARUTO” on all the promo for Samurai 8.
With Samurai 8 being a weekly series, they have more content in 1 year.

I’d also imaging the same companies that produced Naruto’s content(anime, games, merch, etc.) have their eyes on Samurai 8, and want as much content to work with as possible.

That's what the companies want, not necessarily what Kishimoto wants.
