@MD- and that it does (the translation i mean). it was also rumored that the kusanagi was originally like a "hama" in folk lore, but was turned into the more popular "katana" when the story was spread out... this is yet to be confirmed... i like how blue seed incoporated the use of the "tama" as a source of power, as it was in other jap folk lore (if memory serves me right). i also like how they named the male protagonist kusanagi....i was preening around my room when i saw the first episode...

- hama? is that a tail? kusanagi was forged from the tail of Orochi (now from his mouth, like in Naruto LOL). how bout this Namikaze Minato? either of those names would mean "pain". "pein"?
