It’s not because of Yonkou. Yonkou contributed.
Buts it mainly because of Geekdom101, who’s a popular Dragon Ball youtuber.
To Geekdom’s defense, he’s legitimately friends with a lot of people at Funimation, like Chris Sabat, Sean, etc. so he actually has insider info that most youtubers wouldn’t have. and this will be the first time he’s ever wrong.

But I think ppl are gonna blame Yonkou for this one, since most probably don’t follow Geekdom. Yonkou was mainly backing up Geekdom’s confirmations

Oh, I didn´t know about him. So yeah maybe a lot of people will think like me about it and will blame Yonkou. Thanks for the clarification ^^

Yeah. I personally don’t believe Geekdom would report it unless he had solid confirmation. He’s leaked Dragon Ball info many times before(including confining DBS was in the works months before it was announced). He seems to really care about his rep and credibility.

So I wouldn’t say he was particularly lying. I’d expect Yonkou to peak something without 100% confirmation, but Geekdom will sit on info for months if he can’t confirm if it’s true or not, so I’m assuming he ACTUALLY believed July

I think the trauma bringed up this chapter is pretty debatable tough. Unfortunately it's the though reality for some people, but I think one way or another it reinforces an old prejudice against the gay community. Not that I was THAT bothered, but I felt uncomfortable
