Beast Children seemed kind of unimpressive, as far as sports series go it's pretty typical.

Double Taisei's second chapter was... really weird, it's like it went through a whole arc in one chapter, I don't even know what to think about it anymore.

If Tai is really dead, then what was the point of even introducing the double personality in the first place? Identical twins would have had the exact same impact.

If Tai is really dead, then what was the point of even introducing the double personality in the first place? Identical twins would have had the exact same impact.

Clearly, the author realized that he wanted Sei to be protagonist, but was stuck in the position that he couldn't have every match be set at night, so he completely broke the premise in order to make things work. Either way, I don't think this series is lasting. At all.

Beast Children's artwork was pretty nice, but I just can't get into the sport. Of the 3 so far, I guess I'd say it's the best, but that's really not saying anything for me personally. Double Taisei's second chapter was super bizarre. Unless the third chapter somehow drastically changes things, I won't be continuing on with this one any longer. Still can't get into Samurai 8 either. Hopefully the new series next week will be something I enjoy.

Sad to see David-kun go, but for an axed ending, it was at least a happy one all around. Act-Age is shaping up to be super intense. I wasn't expecting that twist whatsoever. Last Saiyuki's chapter was pretty weak this week, but Yui was pretty good. I could get behind its episodic chapters, but it seems like sometimes the scene just lounges into something completely different all of a sudden.

C'mon now, it's 5 series if you count Kamio Yui and Last Sayuuki. They can't ALL flop instantly. At least one of them is bound to stick around for a while.

Futari no Taisei chapter 2 has been really amazing. For me, the best Jump chapter of this week (only after My Hero Academia).

I've also enjoyed Beast Children chapter 1. At least for me, is a better chapter 1 than Haikyuu.

Now I'm afraid because almost all Jump is already consolidated and Samurai 8 has a safe spot, so I'm hoping Futari no Taisei doesn't suffer in the future.

Seems more like duo protagonists with that one friend character who kind of sticks around but never has much of a role besides occasional support.

Beast Children is good, not exception, but something enjoyable to read, i can see it sticking around, the art is good, character design reminded me of early Furudate (considering that and the similarities in the story, I wouldn't be surprised if the author turned out to be a old assistant of him) but the background seems to be non existent sometimes, it's pure white, hope it improves, also, loved the Act Age and BnHA references.

samurai 8 is the only insurance, the rest will depend on the acceptance of the Japanese public.

Beast Children was really boring to me. I almost couldn't finish the first chapter so I'm probably going to drop it if I'm already feeling like that. lol

David had a good ending considering the circumstances.

I mean, obviously? But it goes by ranking, so they can't all be at the absolute bottom, and that could save the least unpopular of them.

One of my complaint is how overly obnoxious the MC is.
