I remember people said Yuuna would get cancelled after its anime but it is still running. Makes me have hope that HZ can hang on just a little further. I took a peak at some chapters of HZ and the developments are really exciting. I cant wait to get caught up once I find the time.

I remember people said Yuuna would get cancelled after its anime but it is still running. Makes me have hope that HZ can hang on just a little further. I took a peak at some chapters of HZ and the developments are really exciting. I cant wait to get caught up once I find the time.

Well, in a way every manga is political as a person is writing them with their own values. But being directly political like that (if that's the right word) for the current japanese government is something that I don't see at all, at least from what I read.

Well, in a way every manga is political as a person is writing them with their own values. But being directly political like that (if that's the right word) for the current japanese government is something that I don't see at all, at least from what I read.

I mean, if you phrase politics that way, what's the difference between politics and philosophy? To me, "political" as a term only really makes sense if it's discussing ongoing issues in the current day world.

One thing that immediately stands out for TSS is that the POV of each panel shifts too frequently (close-up to wideshot, from in front immediately to behind) and is dizzying. The same problem was present in the oneshot so I'm assuming the panelling is all done by the writer which is a bummer.

Eh, at least, unlike Samurai 8, I can easily distinguish objects, and the background isn't a blob of flat objects with zero line clarity separating them.

I don't think groups other than MS and JBox are gonna pick up shonen jump series now that mangaplus is a thing.

Fair enough. Still I think the composition zooms in and out and all around too much. It was way worse in the oneshot since the art was worse overall.

At this rate, I think Hinomaru only has two matches left and an epilogue. So it would be at least 9 chapters (3 for first match, 5 for the final one and 1 for epilogue). Not sure if it can outlive Yuuna tho.

Nah, Yuuna still has a bit left to go. Shame too, because after the latest chapter I wouldn't mind Jump canceling the manga outright and putting Tadahiro Miura on a police watchlist.
