Can we all at least agree that Hachimaru's Princess companion seems like she'll be adorable?
Oh yes! Manga needs way more freckle girls (still waiting for Hatohara in WorldTrigger to become properly relevant).
I will be so annoyed if she only ends up being a person to be protected or moral support.

Well
OP is so long and massive that it's basically impossible to compare.

Legit question, how big do you think Samurai 8 will be able to get? Because I honestly can't see it having much growth, even with Jump pushing it like crazy.
we dont know how it is in Japan. it's prob the most massive hit in japan, cuz of negative tweets in the west doesnt make the manga axe

Guys stfu

I'm quickly becoming as cynical as Rica and nemesis thanks to the nonstop BS here, you know it's bad when you're looking forward to sharks replies

yeah I watched 90% of GX and read all of Yugioh. GX was so fucking good. Yugioh will always be the OG tho ofc

I think Hachimaru and Nakashi remind many readers if themselves and that plays a part in the poor reception.

So, is anyone sad about Soma having ended? Anyone miss it?

I'm definitely not cynical -_- Please don't mistake my snarky replies to those who don't know when to stop discussions or to those spreading false data as cynical.
TAKE THAT BACK.

I live in Canada as well. To quote Liam Neeson "I will find you"

Theres three chapters laugh and we didnt exactly have any conclusion or epilogue. So it's way too soon to feel any sort of emotion.

Am I sad it's ending, yes, but I and other SoTaku fans will generated content for the foreseeable future.

SoTaku was really the only thing the series had going for it. Terunori Koga was great too, and I loved Asahi to death.

The manga had been going downhill for about a year, there's no real emotions to morn for the most part.

Sure but it was such a beloved series for more than half its run. People only kept saying good things about it for such a long time. So, I'm assuming there would be many who would feel sad.

It has been terrible for years, but the fact that it is ending in such a shitty way sucks, no matter how bad or underwhelming a manga becomes the fact that it ends still stings at the very least. Best of luck for both of the creators on their next work.

To be honest, I never cared for Food Wars. Toriko always satiated my food needs. :3c

as in highest selling of the past calendar year? Cause the reprinted volumes did like 5.7 mil or something which is absurd

It's a matter of critical reception. As in "Best sport manga as voted by X people".

In case people can't be bothered to actually read the follow-up tweets, the list is:

1. Slam Dunk
2. Star of the Giants
3. Touch
4. Major
5. Captain Tsubasa
6. Rookies!
7. Aim for the Ace
8. Haikyuu
9. Attack No 1
10. Ashita no Joe
