This discussion reminds me of something I've wanted to ask you guys.

Which WSJ mangaka would you like to see make a ******? Or at the very least, a ****** of their own series.
For the love of God, the author for Teenage Renaissance! David-kun. That would be amazing. If not him, Horikoshi or We Never Learn's author. They design some really cute girls.

For me personally, I'd pay good money for a Kubo ****** of Bleach. Like, ridiculously good, hard earned money.

Say what you want about Bleach, but his female artwork is amazing.

I feel like we're forgetting Tosh, the one who literally has a past in H-Doujin.

Yeah, but you don't have to imagine with him, since he's literally done it.

To Love-ru is great and i'm waiting for the sequel that Hasemi promised in the last Darkness volume, please be published in a seinen magazine ;)

Also, i want to Yuuna be transferred to Plus or other more "free" magazine, let Miura unleash the true potential of the manga, Yuuna Darkness ;P

About a Jump author making ****** it's easy, Tite Kubo, can you imagine a ****** with Kubo's art and girls?

Given Toriko's premise, I think all H-Doujin should be read in the voice of a nature documentary.

I mean, Yuuna's plot is entering the endgame, so it's hardly like Miura has much to go off of. Also, I can hardly imagine Yuuna more "all out", the only thing preventing it from being outright ****** is that we've never seen Kogarashi's dick on-panel.

Oda & Takahashi can team up to create their own ****** to satisfy my fetish for women with long legs :cheez

I mean...Yuuna technically is good ecchi, so I guess people have some standards? I guess? It's better than TLR, at any rate. (I'm gonna get bombarded by TLR fans, aren't I)
Yunna is much better than To Love Ru ever was tbh. Much better cast, protagonist, overall plot, artstyle and so on.

This discussion reminds me of something I've wanted to ask you guys.

Miura from Yunna, I guess. Fujimoto from Chainsaw Man as well.

I've never understood the argument that ecchi manga are some sort of lower form of art. Sure, there are probably some pretty bad ecchi manga, but there's also quite a few bad manga of every genre? I don't know. It just reminds me of those people who demand games be censored, yet never had any intention of playing it themselves even if it were.

Nope, no bombarding. Both are really good. One being better than the other is just an opinion.
I feel the same. Ecchi is just a characteristic either way, not what I could call a genre per se as it can be on anything, same for harem. Which is why I agree when I see magazines calling works like Nisekoi, WNL, Yuna or To Love Ru as romcom in opening pages, because at the end of the day, it's what they are.

Just admit it, its lower form as author. Cheap money grab. Like isekai, garbo af
It's not. Neither is Isekai as there's a big bunch of good and great ones in the market despite the bad ones, which the genre isn't really relevant in the discussion as the Isekai you talk about are Light Novels and the fair majority of Isekai in manga are from LN adaptations either way. lol

Go in any ****** manga site and put "Toriko" and see what will appear kkkkk

Yuuna doesn't have a defined "ending" or a true final goal, the manga is about Kogarashi daily life in the Inn with the girls and lewd situations mixed in, it's pretty much To Love-ru with supernatural girls, the ecchi it's the selling point not the "serious story", Miura can just keep up with the daily life adventures forever with some serious arc in the middle and the fans who support the manga will still buy, that's what To Love-ru and Darkness did.

In a more "mature" magazine Miura will not need to hold back and be more lewd, and also have uncensored nudity, there's a reason why To Love-ru became much more popular with Darkness in SQ than with the original manga in SJ.

The "final goal" of Yuuna is explaining who Yuuna is, how she died, and what her regret is. Once that happens, the story is over. It's the same deal as Nisekoi (who is Raku's promised girl) and WNL (Can Fumino and Rizu get into their desired collages), once the central "question" is resolved, the story is over.

Aren't the volumes uncensored? Isn't that their major selling point?

It is. They show nipples there, unlike in the magazine where they never appear and are covered by something in different ways.

But not anything more than that, of course.

Like Rito having to marry Lala and turn into the next "king" or the whole "Harem plan" from Darkness that ended up in nothing? This is just something presented in the beginning of the story to be a "main goal" for the main character but in the end is never the "end of all" in the story since the manga is faaar from being about just Yuuna, you have a entire cast of important characters with backgrounds and developments during arcs.

Also, wrong comparison, WNL it's a romcom centered more in the romance aspect while Yuuna is about daily life ecchi situations with some romantic developments but much more focused in the ecchi and harem aspect

Yes but the thing is, Miura has to draw thinking about Jump limitations while drawing for a more mature magazine, he will not need to do that, he can be way more creative and free with the fanservice like Hasemi/Yabuki in Darkness.

You realize there's a different nuance there, right? TLR is a question built around a romcom, which can be stretched out as long as one likes. Nisekoi, Yuuna and WNL are romcoms built around a question, something where the driving arc, once resolved, basically renders the point of the manga moot.

LOL kkkkk Seriously? you read the manga? Yuuna it's LITERALLY To Love-ru with supernatural girls! It's nothing like Nisekoi or We Never Learn, Nisekoi was a traditional romcom centered about who the mc would chose and the lock stuff, We Never Learn it's basically Nisekoi but with a study background, these are not ecchi mangas focused on building a harem like To Love-ru and Yuuna.

Yuragi-sou It's not about serious plot, it's not just about Yuuna past life or memories, this was already revealed, it's about Kogarashi and his daily life at the Yuragi's Inn with the girls with some serious arcs mixed in, but in the end will be always about lewd situations and growing a harem.

Yuuna's identity has been given, but her regrets haven't. You know, the actual thing binding her to the Earth.
