Is this about Shokugeki no Souma epilogue chapters? MangaPlus removed the time notice for it, meaning Viz won't do it either. Which is extremely odd, but seems that is it for this manga. MangaStream will scanlate those anyways, so not a big deal.
I know they mentioned weird licensing issues about something before but can't imagine that being the case now with shueisha having it's own official english manga site. It'd be weird not to see the finale when Manga+ is a thing.
Since the ones who provided SnS on Manga+ were Viz, it's probably not. Unless they hire some random translators and editors to do it as they do with Hinomaru Zumo, which would be strange. Anyway, Mangastream will end up doing it so it's not much of a big deal. And neither will they do Higuma's epilogue (if someone remembers it and still cares about it (I do)), so we can take the 'removing-time-notice' thing as as 'We will not do it'.

How do we know Viz won't do it? They did the School Judgement final chapter which was in Jump SQ (or maybe +) and its already been established their schedule is trash (bimonthly Boruto, monthly One Piece, chapters listed for the wrong dates, etc)

LOL the guy blocks me on Twitter but doesn't bother to take my scan and puts nobody in source (and then he comes to yell at those who don't put him in source, beautiful).
Same. Toei has so much material to work, this franchise is just as long if not longer than JJBA so it could get the jojo/brotherhood treatment but I can only hope. The manga still sells well today and a reboot would be a nice way to attract the newer generation into this franchise. Theres a lot of potential with merchandise too.
Kinnikuman is really gory at times and has a lot of comedy to it. The Kinnikuman anime had blood/gore to it but I dont remember Nisei having any. Different times though so I hope they dont completely censor it.
I can’t say i know any but it only got a second series because of western popularity, IIRC(it’s why the foreheads marks are pre-censored at that point, as a bonus fact), so I wouldn’t expect much of its Japanese ratings
He blocked you because of your issue with you & moetron?

Man i love seeing how much audiences still dig Kinnikuman, this year especially with all the anniversary stuff going on with the popup shops and promotional stuff on digital services and so on, but that it’s continued to persist with consistently high sales across multiple sequel series AND a continuation with little sign of slowing down is amazing (especially when the Ultimate Muscle sequel was... a bit up and down in quality, at times). Like Yudetamago have a gift for keeping themselves relevant even from all the way over in Playboy, and it continues to pay off. Which is wild when you think it started as a gag manga spoofing ultraman, innit.

Are you sure it has zero basic appeal to a modern audience or does it have zero appeal to you?
I can't see why an anime redapaptation Kinnikuman would have any trouble catching on. People aren't as boring as you think they are.
I remember people saying the same shit about the new JoJo anime prior to release yet now it's normiecore (not an insult) in the west.

Kinnikuman could totally exist, at least as some kind of commemoration like other manga that got new adaptations to commemorate something. But at the end of the day, it's going to depend on the interest of the companies involved, not even counting Toei on this as for most of their projects, they're not the major funding company.
Some people really never learn, don't they. That's their personal opinions are not everyone else's opinion.
Back to Jump, I still can't believe Gintama ended for real. It's actually a decent end. Congrats and have a nice rest, gorilla.

It's always funny when you see people here trying to state what the japanese public wants or if a old series may or not appeal to them now, specially when it's about a big loved manga franchise that still selling over 100k per volume despite having 40 years of serialization and "no appeal".
I would love to watch a full remake of Kinnikuman adapting all the main mangas like Jojo, i think it would bring a lot of new people here (west) into the franchise too.
