I voted Silver here.

Silver went easy on Gray in Tartaros, so we know that his full power must have been beyond what we ever saw of him.

Kyouka also mentioned that Silver had demon form, so that's another indication that he had some sort of Transformation he didn't use against Gray.


But ultimately, what decided the match for me is that Silver is a Ice Devil Slayer and Invel is a regular Ice Mage. If Silver knows how to utilize his magic properly (and assuming there is no plot involved like in Gray vs. Invel), then Silver should be able to eat Invel's ice no problem.

Which not only give Silver a lot more power, but it renders Invel's attacks useless.

For me, Silver takes the win no less than high diff.

Yeah this might be a surprise but I'm taking Invel. He'll use Ice Slave to either prevent Silver from using IDSM or to limit and than just go on a barrage of Ice attacks. So Invel, about mid-high diff

I am going with invel here. Based on what we know, it seems like silver would really fall short of a springan for he most part. Over the timeskip grey became a mage who could reasonably be compared to the likes of pre timeskip gildarts and even then grey with devil slayer magic had a great deal of trouble winning this. Silver should fall short here. Grey as he is now should vastly outclass silver considering he can use silver make alongside ice devil slayer. Even natsu does not have that level of control over his element.

I'd say Invel would win this one. While Silver certainly was messing around with Gray and never really took that fight seriously, I still think Invel would be able to defeat him with his mastery of Ice Magic. Ice Lock could also mess with Silver's head a bit so there is that to consider. In the end, I think Invel would take it out easy-mid difficulty.

Silver has to hit Invel with an attack stronger than Gray's gauntlets, and Gray can only make that gauntlet by copying SIlver's ice with ice-make.

No he's not. Silver went easy on Grey. He didn't even use his demon transformation. He can teleport he has more mastery over demon slayer attribute as well.

Gray over the timeskip surpassed Silver and wasn't even close to Invel.
