Recommendations dont do anything. It didnt do anything for Kimetsu, Hinomaru, etc, etc.


Look even Shimabu's sports manga (RING) had a recommendation from Oda wraparound (no surprise) and yet it flopped.

I dont get why people use this argument of wraparound helping manga sales as if Japanese readers cant decide for themselves if they should purchase something or not. Its a weak argument.

Oof, looks bad for Yui Kamio, and it looks like Last Saiyuki is DOA. I think it'll probably stay on the daily chart for another day, but it wouldn't even shock me if it fell out of the top 500 on 7/6. That's a real bummer

less on the wraparounds and more on the recommendation themselves which have been proven to boost sales at times (rarely, but had happen)

Damn, that was great. So many sakuga. Even make me want to go back, but even with this quality, I'm satisfied with just the manga.

But people will probably like it with nagamine at the helm of the series and with the staff that is reunited there. Even more now with this filter Toei began to do since last year.

It's more that the series simply didn't do enough early on to really get people talking. Even though the people who read it really enjoyed it, that wasn't enough.
