It's so hard to gauge power rankings now cause Nakaba screwed it al up, it doesn't make sense to me anymore. I wish they kept AM Meliodas at 142k, things would make more sense. The archangels all rely more on magic and with Full counter and his combat experience he could nullfiy their magic advantage and overpower them physically, which his why Mael would be his equal because after a certain time of day he would have the physical strength to fight him, even though his power level his above for most of the day.

Then, there's Ban and King's ridiculous power ups, which make no sense. Yes, Ban's power up is undeserved because he had an immortality hack which just gave him an invincible body, no training, any new abilities, except sharing power, and getting swatted by the demon king.

I would Say Mael Wsunshine & One Mode Escanor have comparable feats to Ban.

However I Believe Ban feats still clinch it handidly for him

Rhitta was chipped
Escanor Sword received damage but negated ON
Then Escanor Spear did the job.

1 shots him with a real cruel Sun

Ban vs DK
Much stronger opponent, and was able receive repeated blows and avoid being pierced or wiped away by his storm. Ban also physically drew blood and caused damage to the DK with punches and kicks..not to mention his magic was able to intercept the DK own techniques.

So with his magic & ST. Ban would spank Mael, mid diff...onky because sunshine is very powerful

If you're just restricting escanor to those two attacks then yes Ban is far better.
